Apex Legends had a successful launch as it reached more than 2.5 million players in just a day

During its latest investor call, Electronic Arts revealed that Apex Legends had reached over 2.5 million unique players. Respawn’s battle royale title was able to reach 1 million players in just 8 hours so I think it is safe to say that this was a successful launch. Electronic Arts confirms a new Need for Speed game that is under development

Electronic Arts today announced preliminary financial results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31st, 2018, and revealed that a new Need for Speed game is currently under development. Moreover, the publisher will have some new Titanfall experiences (and no this isn’t Titanfall VR as some were speculating). Shadow of the Tomb Raider will get DLSS support alongside the real-time ray tracing effects

Back in August 2018, NVIDIA and Nixxes Software showcased the real-time ray tracing effects for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
