Doom Remake 4 shuts down due to cease and desist from Zenimax
Back in January 2019, we informed you about a new mod for the first Doom game that aimed to overhaul its visuals. Created by modder ‘vasyan777’, Doom Remake 4 brought with it High Resolution textures with PBR materials, 3D models of every object and enemy, New HUD, Brutal mods with plenty of blood and gibsmore lights, support for the Vulkan API and more. AMD will support ray tracing on its next-generation NAVI GPUs, promises full ray tracing via the cloud
At E3 2019, AMD revealed that its next generation graphics cards that will be based on its RDNA architecture will support hardware ray tracing effects. As such, the red team basically confirmed that a) its new RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT GPUs will not support any ray tracing effects and b) its new GPUs – which will most likely arrive in 2020 prior to the release of next-gen consoles – will support it.
