Italian leaker hints at Death Stranding coming to the PC after its Playstation 4 release

These past few years, we’ve seen numerous hints at a PC version of Death Stranding. Yesterday, Kojima Productions released a brand new trailer for its debut title and another hint surfaced from the man who had previously leaked the game’s release date.

Italian journalist Antonio Fucito claimed during a TwitchTV stream that Death Stranding will be coming to the PC after its console release. The game is currently scheduled for a November 8th release on PS4, meaning that we may see this game hitting our platform sometime in 2020.

As Antonio Fucito said:

“The PS4 cover didn’t have the “Only on PS” label because DS it’s coming to PC at a later date, that’s the deal signed between Kojima and Sony, the game will be a timed PS4 exclusive and will be available on PC later on (won’t be available on Xbox), i don’t know if it’s a 6 or 12 months exclusive”

This isn’t the first time we hear about a possible PC release of Death Stranding. Back in 2015, Sony and Kojima Productions stated that the game would come to the PC after its PS4 release. Furthermore, and earlier this year, Hideo Kojima did not confirm nor denied a PC version of Death Stranding.

It’s worth pointing out that Fucito may be merely guessing here due to the fact that the PS4 cover does not feature the “Only on PS” label. Sony and Kojima Productions clearly state in the trailer that the cover art is subject to change so it’s not set on stone yet whether the box case will lack the “Only on PS” label yet. In other words, take everything you just read with a grain of salt. There have been so far numerous hints towards a PC release for Death Stranding, however things may change in the future.

Last but not least, here is the latest gameplay trailer that Kojima Productions released!
