Chris Davie, former employee of Bizarre Creations, has shared a video, showcasing a prototype version of the last game that was being developed by that gaming studio (before getting shut down). According to Davie, Bizarre Creations has been using a new engine for that cancelled game and even though this racing title was not playable at all, Davie has managed to get its Dubai track as close to final as possible. You can check out the video from this track below! Continue reading Footage Unveiled From Bizarre Creations’ Cancelled Sequel To ‘Blur’→

Imagine a Jurassic Park game with Far Cry 3’s engine. Now that would be amazing, right? Well, until someone decides to create an open-world game, based on Michael Crichton’s dino-universe, we’ll have to rely on various mods to satisfy our dino fantasies. Jurassic Life is a mod for Half-Life 2, and although there is no release date for it as of yet, the team behind it has released a new video that can be viewed below. It looks cool, though it needs a lot of polish (especially with regards to hit detection, dino models, and animations). Nevertheless, this is the closest we’ll get to a modern-day JP game, so go ahead and enjoy the video! Continue reading Jurassic Life – Jurassic Park Mod For Half-Life 2 – Gets Some New Footage→

Have you ever wondered what Limbo’s environments and characters could look like in the… ‘light’? Well, time to find out. YouTube’s member ‘dorkly’ has created an amazing video, showcasing what an alternative version of Limbo could look like, provided there was a flashlight mod for it. Ironically, it appears that objects cannot be as scary as they may look in the dark. This is a great parody, so make sure to watch it. Enjoy! Continue reading What if there was a flashlight in Limbo→
As you may already know, Activision is preparing an FPS title, based on the ‘The Walking Dead’ franchise. While the big publisher has not revealed anything – officially – as of yet, Guru3D’s member ‘Stone Gargoyle’ has shared a video from what looks like a prototype version of that FPS game. It looks kind of meh and generic, though we should note that the final game may not look anywhere close to it. Enjoy the video after the jump! Primal Rage was one of my most favourite arcade games as it was a great mix between Mortal Kombat and Jurassic Park. And even though a sequel to it was under development, it never got out. To be honest, I’m somehow grateful that it never got out as Primal Rage 2 looks like a Killer Instict-wannabe with some dino morphs to fool those who loved the first game. But anyway, below you can find a new video from that cancelled arcade version of it, courtesy of YouTube’s member ‘raydude’. Kudos to NeoGAF for spotting it and special thanks to DeviantArt’s ‘Cepillo16’ for the amazing image! Continue reading New Footage From Cancelled ‘Primal Rage 2’ Arcade Surfaces→
SEGA has released a new trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines that focuses on the game’s storyline. I seriously hope that this new Aliens game will surprise me pleasantly, though I’m a bit disappointed from what I’ve already seen. Lots of scripted events everywhere and an awful AI make this a title that needs further polishing before rolling it out. Let’s hope that Gearbox will not disappoint us on this. Enjoy! Even though we’ve been covering pCars this whole time, there is another racing game that looks slightly worse than it, but feels more ‘responsive’ and closer to real-life driving. You see, even rFactor 2 does not feature the mind-blowing visuals of Slightly Mad Studios’ racing game, it certainly features a better physics engine and a spectacular tire deformation system. We don’t know whether pCars will manage to surpass it, fact is though that racing sim fans should definitely give a go at ISI’s proper sim racing game. Enjoy this new community trailer – created by YouTube’s member ‘BSNismo’ – after the jump! Continue reading New rFactor 2 Community Trailer Looks Sweet→
