Piranha Games have released some new screenshots for their upcoming free-to-play mecha game, MechWarrior Online. These new shots show off the game’s Catapult unit, in all of its CryEngine 3 glory. MechWarrior Online lets players command at will as they can go head-to-head online alone or with friends in high-octane Conquest and VS modes. MechWarrior Online promises to deliver a rich online experience, rewarding everything a player does with experience points, C-Bills, unlocks, and recognition. Enjoy! While we’re waiting for the official release of Black Ops 2 trailer, some new screenshots for Activision’s upcoming FPS title got leaked. These shots are said to be from the upcoming trailer and showcase some futuristic environments. It’s pretty evident that Black Ops 2 will take place in the future. Not only that, but one of our favourite characters will re-appear in Black Ops 2. Yeap, you read that right. The Crucible of Omens is a promised mod for Doom 3. This mod is supposed to be a Single Player campaign that will be based on Looking Glass’ Thief series and the team is currently working hard on completing it. While there is still no ETA for its SP mode, the team decided to share some new screenshots from it. While The Dark Mod is first and foremost an SP mod, it currently ships with a toolkit and a training mission, thus providing people with all the tools necessary to create their own Medieval Steam-punk Fan Missions, and the community has already created over 50 full missions. I tell you guys; Crytek should seriously hire MaLDo. After a long break, the modder is back and has introduced some truly amazing new features to the upcoming version of his MaLDoHD mod. The latest version of MaLDoHD will come with a new manhole, a new puddle, parallax on distant buildings and FDR on walls. To demonstrate those changes, the modder has released some shots that can be viewed below. MaLDo has outdone himself and Crysis 2 looks – almost – like a completely new game with his mod. Remember that helmet cam from Shift 2: Unleashed? Looked great, right? Well, get ready because Slightly Mad Studios are implementing this camera viewpoint to their upcoming racer, Project CARS. Not only that, but the viewpoint is way better than the one that was featured in Shift 2: Unleashed. Sony Online Entertainment has released today some brand new screenshots for their upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS, Planetside 2. PlanetSide 2 takes all the groundbreaking features from the original game – massive multiplayer battles, distinctive empires to rally around, and enormous continents to support intense ground and air combat – and adds features that modern gamers have come to expect out of the FPS and MMO genres. City Interactive released today a new set of screenshots for their upcoming CryEngine 3 powered sniper gamer, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. These new images showcase some of the environments, as well as the dismemberment system that will be featured. It looks great, which was a given as CryEngine 3 is a really powerful engine to begin with.
