This is what a Pokemon game would look like in Unreal Engine 3

We seriously can’t believe there is noone taking advantage of Unreal Engine 3 (and CryEngine 3). Okay, there are plenty of UE3 games but when was the last time you saw something unique? Something out of the ordinary? Something besides another brown-ish shooter game? Something like Mirror’s Edge perhaps? Well, time for a slight change. Christian Davis, Associate Environment Artist at Junction Point Studios, has created a high quality model of the Blastoise Pokemon. Naturally, Davis felt the need to test his model on UDK and the following image was the result of that. And damn, does this looks impressive. Davis used UDK’s Foliage Showcase, which means that all assets other than Blastoise and the pokeball are property of Epic Games. Enjoy! The War Z – New Screenshots Released

Hammerpoint Interactive has released some new screenshots for its upcoming zombie FPS game, The War Z. The War Z is an online, multiplayer, survival-simulation game set in an open world infested with zombies. Players are thrust into this post-apocalyptic world five-years after a viral outbreak that ravaged the human population and left, in its wake, a nightmare of epic proportion. The Raven – First Screenshots Unveiled For Nordic’s Next Generation Adventure Game

Nordic Games has also released the first screenshots for its upcoming, next-generation adventure game, The Raven. Total War: Rome II – New Screenshots

SEGA has released a new set of screenshots for Creative Assembly’s upcoming Total War: Rome II game. Encompassing one of the best-known periods in world history, Total War: Rome II will combine the most expansive turn-based campaign and the largest, most cinematic real-time battles yet seen in any game. Grand Theft Auto V – Four New Screenshots

Rockstar released four new screenshots for GTA V, that showcase some of the game’s missions. It seems that Rockstar has overhauled the lighting system of its open-world game, as we can spot a bokeh DoF effect on the first image and gorgeous flashlight effects on the last one. Not only that, but GTA V will feature better textures than its predecessor. GTA V looks great, and we can’t wait to see how this game will look like with an iCEnhancer mod. Enjoy! Raiderz to be the first MMORPG powered by Umbra 3; new screenshots and trailer

Umbra Software, the developer of state of the art rendering optimization middleware, announced that the MMORPG RaiderZ from Maiet Entertainment (Korea) is the first game to ship using Umbra Software’s latest middleware suite: Umbra 3. Project CARS – New Community Screenshots

Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of community screenshots for its gorgeous looking racing game, Project CARS. According to the company, the following shots are untouched, straight from the Project CARS universe and show off everything the current development builds of our WMD-powered title have to offer. In other words, this is purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. The Testament of Sherlock Holmes – Release Date Announced, New Screenshots Revealed

Focus Home Interactive announced that on September 20th (Europe) and September 25th (North America), The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, a gorgeous looking adventure game that is being developed by Frogwares, will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. In addition, the publisher has released four new screenshots that can be viewed below. These new screenshots show the famous detective and his friend Doctor Watson in the midst of their investigation. GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.1.1 – New Screenshots Revealed

Although Keilany had stated that iCEnhancer 2.0 would be the final version of his GTA IV mod, the talented modder has been experimenting with some new techniques and as a result of that, iCEnhancer 2.1.1 came to fruition. This new version of iCEnhancer supports an anamorphic effect that looks similar to the one of Battlefield 3. No ETA has been announced as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Survarium – New Screenshot Released

Vostok Games has released a new screenshot for its upcomig F2P MMOFPS, Survarium. We should note that, even though this screenshot looks as good as most modern-day multiplatform titles, it is taken from an early build and does not represent the final quality of the game. Survarium will be a free-to-play FPS and promises to feature RPG and survival elements, as well as a post-apocalyptic atmosphere that will influence the gameplay in many different ways, mutants, underground levels and bullet ballistics.
