Back in April, we informed you about Reset, a Single player co-op first person puzzle game with emphasis on story and atmosphere. Reset looked stunning and better than anything we’d seen so far. Fast forward a couple of months and here we are today with a new tech trailer and screenshots for it. Even though the water is static on this tech demo, we have to say that the lighting system looks so… real. In all honesty, Reset could very well be the most impressive PC title – in terms of visuals – surpassing even Crysis 3 or other triple-A titles. Namco Bandai has revealed the first PC screenshots of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. Ace Combat Assault Horizon features controls and graphics that have been optimized specifically for PC users, and will include many of the DLC items released on the console versions of the game. Ubisoft revealed that a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be released tomorrow. In addition, the company has shared a new screenshot from that trailer that showcases some BF3-like lens-flares that will be featured in it. Splinter Cell: Blacklist promises to be both an action and a stealth game, though we all know Ubisoft won’t be able to satisfy both camps. SEGA has released a new set of screenshots for Gearbox’s upcoming Aliens game. Aliens: Colonial Marines promises to bring new levels of bone-chilling suspense and adrenaline-filled action to the renowned franchise. Unfortunately, from what we’ve seen so far, this new Aliens game might not be what true fans have been waiting for, especially due to the bad AI and the underwhelming combat mechanics. Futuremark sent us some new screenshots from one of the tests that will be featured in the new 3D Mark benchmark tool. According to the developers, Cloud Gate, one of three tests in the new 3DMark, uses a DirectX 11 engine limited to Direct3D feature level 10_0, making it suitable for testing DirectX 10 compatible hardware found in notebooks and typical home PCs. It is also an ideal benchmark for entry-level DirectX 11 integrated graphics solutions that could struggle to run the more demanding Fire Strike test. Cloud Gate will be available only in the Windows versions of 3DMark initially. We’ve also included two shots from the Fire Strike DX11 test. Enjoy!
