Unreal Engine 4 – New Realistic Rendering Room Tech Demo Will Leave You Speechless

Epic Games has released a new beta build for Unreal Engine 4 in which the company included a new tech demo, showcasing realistic indoor rendering. This tech demo uses Unreal Engine 4’s Global Illumination techniques, and sports some really high-res textures. AMD Teases Radeon R9 295 X2 In A New Trailer, Incoming Announcement

Remember our April’s Fools joke about R290Xtreme? Holy Batman, we were partially right about it. Okay okay, the new GPU from AMD will not require a 2000W PSU but as the red team unveiled, R9 295 X2 is real and will be a dual-GPU card (that will – most probably – challenge Nvidia’s Titan Z). Our only complain is with the overall ‘speed’ of the animations for the CG models that were used (feel slow). Bound by Flame Gets A Second “Combat Demo” Trailer

Focus Home Interactive has released a new combat trailer for Spiders’ upcoming action RPG, Bound By Flame, that gives us a little bit of a taste of the game’s combat before it releases an epic combat trailer that covers all the combat mechanics and fighting styles. Bound By Flame will feature a combat system similar to the one found in Mars War Logs (though it will offer a bigger selection of attacks and skills, more fluid and spectacular animations, and the use of Magic). SEGA has released a new trailer for Alien: Isolation in which the team behind the game at Creative Assembly discusses how careful it has been to remain true to the incredible audio composition of the 1979 movie. With access to countless original audio recordings and the musical score, Alien: Isolation features a soundtrack which creates an emotional reaction from the player, escalating tension and driving fear. New Nvidia Flameworks Tech Demo Shows The Most Realistic Fire & Smoke Effects

During GTC 2014, Nvidia has showcased tha latest version of Flameworks; a system for generating fire, smoke and explosion effects for games. Flameworks combines a state-of-the-art grid-based fluid simulator with an efficient volume rendering engine, and this latest tech demo is impressive (to say the least). This is by far the best ‘fire and smoke’ tech demo, surpassing even the one for Deep Down that Capcom introduced a while back. According to Nvidia, this is real-time volumetric fire simulation running on GeForce Titan Z and packs 32 million voxels. Enjoy!
