Mass Effect 3 gets a new patch; face import fixed

BioWare and Electronic Arts have released a new update for Mass Effect 3. This patch fixes – among other things – the face import issue that some gamers have experienced. In addition, the update fixes several crashes, an issue when an unresponsive game state could occur during transition after the Conduit level and an issue when saves from different accounts on the same computer could get locked. GeForce ForceWare 301.24 Beta Released; boosts performance by up to 23%, FXAA implemented

Nvidia have released a new beta version of their universal ForceWare drivers. ForceWare 301.24 Beta come with the implementation of FXAA and Adaptive Vsync, the addition of FXAA support, and with a performance boost that is up to 23% in several top PC games. Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 reaches one million units, to be re-released at a reduced price

In celebration of one million units sold throughout Latin America, Konami Digital Entertainment has announced it’s re-releasing its hit game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 on April 10th at lower prices for a number of formats. The game, originally released in September 2011, has been praised for its realism and key advances, and its low price will make it a key signing for soccer fans. The lower price gives new fans the opportunity to pick up the controller and play against friends in what is regarded as the most authentic soccer game in the market. STALKER 2 – Leaked Video from former GSC employee

Sergey Zhukov, a former GSC employee (animator), has leaked an animation video of the upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 game. This video shows off the new animation system that will be – hopefully – used in the game, as well as the more detailed characters. Fnatic ‘aLive’ is the champion of IPL4’s StarCraft 2 Tournament

You know what, I’ve never been a huge fan of eSports. But then I started watching some fighting games and was uterly amazed by their skills. I mean, seriously now, how can you not be impressed when you watch in action Daigo or Tokido with his infamous Akuma pose? And then, I gave a go to Starcraft 2 and boy was I hooked on it. IGN held its ProLeague Season 4 in Vegas this weekend and if you missed it, then… well there are no words to describe what you’ve missed. Overgrowth Alpha 175 Changes; weapon physics added, one-handed sword fight implemented

Wolfire Games have released a new video to showcase the changed that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, the team’s programmer has added physics to the weapons that have a huge impact to the fights. In addition, David Rosen has added stances, attacks and parries for one-handed dog sword. 2 Dawn Games’ Unreal Engine 3 powered game ‘Ravaged’ has a Kickstarter Campaign; goal is $15K USD

We’ve been following the development of Ravaged for quite a while and we were really excited about it. And like most indie devs these past days, 2 Dawn Games decided to start a Kickstarter campaign for it. At first, I was shocked since we’ve already seen gameplay footage of it and the game is almost finished. And thankfully, the company is simply seeking to finalize marketing and publishing material for Steam, which is fine in our books. Street Fighter x Tekken PC – Preorders next week or so, no DLC on disc, PC Requirements coming soon

Capcom’s Svensson and Yoshinori Ono have released some interesting new information about the upcoming PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken. According to Ono, the PC version will not include the DLC on disc. A lot of fans began wondering the reasons behind that and Capcom’s moderator ‘Deva Ashera’ shared some thoughts about it. According to Deva Ashera, PC gamers are used to downloading large patches, which is what the DLC characters will end up as and that the worry about hard drive space is not as big of deal as on consoles since the game will be mainly distributed via digital stores.
