Max Payne 3 – First PC Screenshots Released

Rockstar has released the first PC screenshots of Max Payne 3 and let us tell you that it looks F’ing amazing. Sure, this is a multi-platform title but we are really impressed with the quality of its PC version. Launching on June 1st in Europe, the PC version of Max Payne 3 will feature gloriously increased resolution and graphical detail in both the epic story and the explosive multiplayer modes. ArmA 3 – Community Alpha coming after E3, mod support confirmed, backward compatible with ArmA 2

Bohemia Interactive has revealed some new screenshots for their military sim FPS game, ArmA 3, as well as some new information about it. Arma 3 will be exhibited at E3 (June 5-7) and Gamescom Cologne (August 16-19). For many this will be the first opportunity to experience what has been accomplished so far and to get a sense of what is to come. However, that is not all. For the first time ever in the Arma series, Bohemia Interactive is planning a ‘Community Alpha’. This will let people try out an early playable build of Arma 3 and help the team with development. CryENGINE 3.3.9 SDK comes with DX9 POM & Autodesk Scaleform support, better SLI/CF utilization

Crytek, creators of the award-winning Crysis video game franchise and CryENGINE 3D engine technology, announced that Autodesk Scaleform user interface (UI) solution is now integrated into CryENGINE 3. The technology will also be included in CryENGINE 3 free SDK, as part of a new update released today. Scaleform has been Crytek’s UI solution-of-choice for the development of all titles in the “Crysis” franchise. PC gamers, meet Life Weaver; a survival horror game, along the high-fantasy lines of Legend of Zelda

Independent developer BGG Productions, in collaboration with BioGamer Girl, announced that their survival horror game, Life Weaver, will feature a full-length soundtrack created by Amanda Dyar and will be available for download for a limited time for only $19.99. Life Weaver is a high-fantasy action game much like that of The Legend of Zelda created by BioGamer Girl founder Amanda Dyar. AION goes free-to-play in Europe on February 28th

Gameforge announced today that AION will switch to free-to-play on the 28th of February 2012 . The change-over will occur simultaneously for the German, French and English language versions. Namco Bandai and Bugbear Entertainment have released a new trailer for their upcoming arcade racer, Ridge Racer: Unbounded. Massive Changelog for Battlefield 3’s Upcoming Patch; lots of balance tweaks in weapons and vehicles

DICE and Electronic Arts have revealed the changelog for Battlefield 3’s upcoming patch. Although there is no ETA as of yet, the changelog is huge and could possibly be the best we’ve ever seen. The list is not complete and DICE is still working on improving online gameplay, fixing bugs and tweaking the game’s mechanics. Some of the changes are increased spawn protection, balance tweaks for lots of weapons and vehicles, as well as improvements to some general gameplay features. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will be filled with more terror, horror and paranoia than Amnesia: The Dark Descent

In a recent interview with Joystiq, Frictinal Games and The Chinese Room revealed what most of us were suspecting all this time. The two companies are joining forces for the next Amnesia title called ‘Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs’. This new Amnesia game is funded by Frictional Games, developed by The Chinese Room, and will be released some time before this year’s Halloween. But that’s not important. What’s really interesting here is that Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will be filled with more terror, horror and paranoia. In other words, you’ll once again scream like a little girl and perhaps squeeze… like a pig. Deep Black: Reloaded gets a Pre-launch trailer; new screenshots revealed

Biart Studios have released a pre-launch trailer and some brand new screenshots for their upcoming third person under-water game, Deep Black: Reloaded. Featuring 40 single player missions across land and water, Deep Black: Reloaded is set in a desolate near future of global terrorism and espionage as players become involved in a desperate fight for world supremacy and the possession of a sophisticated biological weapon. The game supports Nvidia’s 3D VISION, as well as the Razer Hydra controller, and is slated for a March 1st release.
