Trine 2 – 6th Beta Update Released

It’s a bit ironic. We’ve seen lots of PC games with minimal post-launch support – and two, one or none patches that would fix their bugs – and Frozenbyte has already released six patches for the beta version of their upcoming side-scrolling puzzle adventure platformer, Trine 2. And make no mistake, these are not some meaningless patches as they really enhance the overall gaming experience and fix or add crucial features. This is remarkable and shows how dedicated Frozenbyte is to this title. And from the looks of it, Trine 2 could be one of 2011’s sleeper hits. Those interested can pre-purchase the game and gain access to its beta. You can also view the complete changelog of this latest patch after the jump. But her new violin cover for Halo’s theme is simply fantastic. According to Lara, this has been quite a popular request lately and the backing is from Halo 2 (the original tune is one of the best games tunes ever and is from Martin O’Donnell & Michael Salvatori).
