Benchmarked – Battlefield 5 can be played with 60fps at 1440p with real-time ray tracing RTX effects

As we’ve already reported, the Battlefield 5 Chapter 1: Overture update is currently available for download. DICE and NVIDIA claimed that this patch comes with some impressive performance improvements for the real-time ray tracing RTX effects and as such, we’ve decided to benchmark our RTX2080Ti and see whether the game can be played at 1440p on Ultra settings. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti may be able to run Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4K on Ultra Settings with 60fps

Shadow of the Tomb Raider releases in a few days and from the looks of it, it will be a demanding title in 4K. Insomnia’s Spartan117 has shared an image from the built-in benchmark in which the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti can run the game with an average of 47fps and a minimum of 40fps in 4K on Ultra settings. Battlefield 5 will be lacking a lot of content at release

While Electronic Arts and DICE delayed the release of Battlefield 5 by a month, it appears that the game will be lacking a lot of content when it comes out. Now I don’t want to say that the content will be similar to what was featured in Battlefront 2, however things are not looking ideal for DICE’s upcoming shooter.
