The NDA for NVIDIA’s GTX1080 has just been lifted and the first benchmarks for this brand new GPU have been released. According to reports from multiple sources, the GTX1080 is 30% faster than the GTX980Ti, and in some situations and can be up to 40% faster than NVIDIA’s previous high-end GPU.

Obsidian Entertainment is working on Pillars of Eternity II

Obsidian Entertainment’s CEO, Feargus Urquhart, has confirmed that the team is currently working on the sequel to Pillars of Eternity. In an interview with Gamepressure, Feargus said that Obsidian has started moving forward on Pillars of Eternity II.

AMD Radeon Software 16.5.2.1 released, increases performance in DOOM

AMD has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.5.2.1 increases performance by up to 35% on AMD Radeon R9 390 series products in Doom. In other words, this is a must-have driver for those with AMD GPUs.
