ORION developer admits game ripping weapon art content off Call of Duty, fires 3D artist

Developer David James has issued a new statement about the battle between Activision and Spiral Games regarding the unauthorised/illegal use of weapon art content from Call of Duty games. According to James, Spiral Games’ 3D artist did actually rip some content off the Call of Duty games, and a resolution has been reached.

AMD has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.2 adds official support for the newly released Radeon RX 480 GPU. In addition, this driver brings a Crossfire profile for World of Tanks, and fixes a number of issues.

PixelDash Studios and EQ-Games announced that the Road Rash-inspired Road Redemption will be fully released on October 15th. In addition, the publisher announced that the game has sold 100,000 copies to date.

The embargo for AMD’s Radeon RX 480 GPU lifts today and YouTube’s ‘Tech of Tomorrow’ has shared the first benchmarks for this brand new graphics card. Tech of Tomorrow has tested one hell of games and as we can see, the Radeon RX 480 is slower in some and faster in others than NVIDIA’s GTX 970.

YouTube’s ‘RHY3756547’ has shared a video, showcasing Mario Kart 8 running on the latest version of the best WiiU emulator, CEMU. CEMU 1.5.3. This version of CEMU comes with major lighting improvements, is available to all patreon backers and we’re pretty sure that it will be available to the public next week.

Blizzard has announced that a ‘Competitive Play’ mode is now available on Overwatch. According to the press release, Competitive Play is designed for those who truly want to put their skills to the test, and offers a more serious experience than Quick Play or Weekly Brawl! modes.

Bethesda has announced that the next update for DOOM will be released on June 30th. According to the changelog, this patch will add a Photo Mode, as well as classic DOOM weapon placement support.
