Double Fine has announced that Full Throttle Remastered will be released on April 18th. In order to celebrate this announcement, Double Fine has made the game available for pre-order on GOG with a 20% discount, and released a new trailer that can be viewed below.

Despite its crowd-funding promises, 2Dark won’t be available on DRM-free digital stores

Back in 2014, Gloomywood launched a crowd-funding campaign for its stealth adventure game, 2Dark. Gloomywood promised to release this game on DRM-free digital stores (such as GOG and Desura). However, and after signing up a publishing deal with Bigben Interactive, these plans have been abandoned.

Microsoft has just released a free demo for its new strategy game, Halo Wars 2. This demo is 17GB in size and features  the opening mission of the single-player campaign, as well as the Blitz Firefight mode.

Frostkeep Studios, an independent games studio formed by veteran World of Warcraft and League of Legends developers, announced today its first new game, Rend; a hybrid fantasy survival game that introduces RPG elements and other game mechanics to the genre.

STRAFE, action-packed retro first-person shooter, delayed until May 9th

Devolver has announced that Pixel Titans’ action-packed retro first-person shooter, STRAFE, has been delayed until May 9th. STRAFE was originally meant to be released this month, on March 28th. Devolver has not commented yet on why STRAFE has been delayed.

2D action platformer, 88 Heroes, releases on March 24th

Rising Star Games today announced that 88 Heroes, the chaotic 2D action platform game from acclaimed development studio Bitmap Bureau, will release on March 24. Planet Coaster – Free Spring update coming on April 11th

Frontier Developments today revealed that the new Planet Coaster Spring Update will be available to all Planet Coaster players for free on April 11th. This new update will feature three new rollercoasters, three new fully-customizable flatrides and the unique ‘Speed’ go-kart ride.
