EVO 2018 begins later today and almost all of its roster will be free to play on Steam this weekend. This basically means that Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter 5, Tekken 7 and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will be free to play. Alongside them, Absolver will also be free to play this weekend.

2K Games today announced that NBA 2K18 has now sold-in more than 10 million units, setting a new record for the franchise. Since its inception in 1999, the NBA 2K franchise has sold-in more than 80 million units worldwide and is the top-rated and top-selling NBA video game simulation series of the past 17 years.

GRIP: Combat Racing, spiritual successor to Rollcage, releases on November 6th

Wired Productions and developer Caged Element today announced that GRIP: Combat Racing – a ferociously fast, futuristic arcade combat racer – will release on November 6th. Racers who pre-order through GameStop in the US will receive the exclusive Nyvoss Hex Paint Kit; the Vortex Rim Pack; and five pre-order exclusive vehicle decals.

Valve’s card game, Artifact, releases on November 20th

Valve has announced that its upcoming upcoming card game, Artifact, will release on Steam on November 20th for Windows, Linux and Mac. In addition, the team revealed that the game will be playable by attendees at PAX West from August 31st until September 3rd.
