Ubisoft has detailed the next major update for The Division 2 that will be made available to everyone later this month. According to the release notes, Update 3 will add the first 8-player raid, Operation Dark Hours.

Tactical FPS “Squad” has sold more than one million copies

Offworld Industries has announced that their tactical FPS, Squad, has sold more than 1 million copies while in Early Access. To commemorate the achievement, Offworld has released Squad’s Alpha 13 update which adds new tanks, squad roles, game modes, and more to the game.
Epic Games has purchased Psyonix, Rocket League will be Epic Games Store exclusive in late 2019

Epic Games has announced that it has acquired the creators of Rocket League, Psyonix. Moreover, Rocket League will come to the Epic Games Store as an exclusive title in late 2019, meaning that the game will no longer be sold on Valve’s distribution service, Steam.

Gearbox has announced that Borderlands 3 will feature micro-transactions for cosmetic items. Randy Pitchford and Paul Sage made it clear that the game won’t have any “pay-to-win microtransactions” that can give gameplay advantages to those that acquire them.
Intel’s upcoming Xe graphics cards for data center will support hardware accelerated ray tracing

Intel confirmed today that its upcoming Xe graphics cards will support ray tracing hardware acceleration. What this basically means is that instead of mere software support, the Xe GPUs will feature dedicated hardware components that will accelerate the ray tracing calculations.
AMD’s Lisa Su confirms that the first NAVI GPU and Ryzen 2 CPUs will be released in Q3 2019

During AMD’s post-earnings conference call, Lisa Su confirmed that the first 7nm NAVI GPUs and the upcoming Ryzen 2 CPUs will be officially released in Q3 2019. According to Su, Navi will feature pricing that is below where the Radeon 7 is currently positioned and that it will come with a lot of new features.

QLOC has released the second major patch for the PC version of Mortal Kombat 11. According to the release notes, this patch integrates launch day gameplay server-side data, makes move list and frame data corrections, and makes some adjustments to online match-making and to AI.
