    1. The 60$ argument doesn’t exactly work here. DX12 is an added benefit that this game provides. If they had gone purely DX11 like most games do, they’d be doing what usually is done. Performance and content issues I can understand, but not the entitlement towards DX12 inclusion. It’s a bonus for PC gamers and I thank Eidos/Nixxes for it because they had no obligation to provide DX12 support to begin with.

      1. You did not understand my comment. I was referring to the entitlement regarding inclusion of DX12 itself, not its performance. Like I said, I understand certain performance issues… but claiming DX12 should be there and fully functional just because the game is 60$, is an entitled opinion. If the game works as it should on DX11, you already got your money’s worth from a technical standpoint. Content notwithstanding of course.

The game sucks in dx11 and doesn’t work as it should.

          1. I know the game has issues under DX11 as well and I can understand those. I hope they get resolved because generally Nixxes tend to be quite good with their PC versions.

          2. Well initially there were framerate, mouse acceleration and other optimization issues on a variety of configs; some of those might’ve been sorted out in the latest patches, but I’m not really sure. If you’re on the fence about buying the game, you should take a look at some recent performance benchmarks on YouTube first just to make sure it’s good to go. And if you have a high-end system then you can probably brute-force your way through any lingering issues since it’s not exactly a demanding game (minus the MSAA and contact hardening shadows of course).

      2. You are a drm lover. Everyone around here know that crap.
You always think, 1st is the company that is milking me, then myself

        1. Oh hey, long time no see my Argentine friend! Don’t worry, you don’t need to post your selfie because I’ve not forgotten you. You look so cute but still seem so very edgy, wow. Just like the last time I made fun of you for… uh, something I guess. So have you changed your naughty little ways? Also do you plan on staying this time around? Please don’t say no and break my little drm-loving corporate heart, okay?

    2. I’ve read that coding for DX12 is very different than for DX11. Designers have yet to be more proficient at it. Why aren’t there more games that make efficient use of multi-threading support in Intel’s I7 series? CPU intensive games could favor heavily of that. But apparently it’s difficult to code for multi-threading support too.

In short, give it some time. 2017 will see the real switch to DX12 (and hopefully Vulkan too). As of 2018 I expect all new games will be designed for DX12 from the ground up.

  1. battlefield 1 looks really great and it can run at 80-99 max setting using gtx 980 this game max setting barely hits 60 fps mark
