Resident Evil Requiem VR Mod

VR Mod Released for Resident Evil Requiem

Modder ‘Talemann1982’ has just released a VR mod for the latest Resident Evil game, Resident Evil Requiem. This mod will let you experience RE9 in VR. So, if you own a VR headset, you should definitely download and try it.

Thanks to this mod, you can play with your motion controllers in 6DOF. There are proper motion controls for using your axe. The bike section will now be in first-person (wherever possible). Furthermore, the mod will remove the pitchlock in important places in order to reach some needed button prompts.

As the modder said, HMD movement is possible but not officially supported yet. There’s currently no rotating body transform or button prompts. It’s also unclear whether the modder plans to add them in a future update.

You can go ahead and download the VR mod from this link. Be sure to read its installation guide as it needs both VigEm and REFramework.

At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This video will give you an idea of what you can expect from it. So, make sure to watch it if you are curious about it, but don’t want to download it.

In case you are into VR gaming, I also suggest taking a look at these other VR mods. Half-Life 2 already has a VR Mod, as do Half-Life 2: Episode One and Episode Two. In September 2023, we also shared VR Mods for Portal 2 and Far Cry. Then we have these VR Mods for Resident Evil 4 Remake and Trespasser. Additionally, you can play Hogwarts Legacy in VR with this mod.

But wait, there are more. In November 2024, we shared a VR Mod for Silent Hill 2 Remake. Plus, Manor LordsWorld of Warcraft and Hellblade 2 also have their own cool VR mods. Oh, and let’s not forget the VR mod for Halo and Crysis.

Have fun!
