PureDark has released a new version of his Upscaler All-In-One for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that adds support for DLSS 4.5. This mod will let you use the newest DLSS 4.5 models, Preset M and Preset L, in Skyrim.
NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 features a 2nd generation Transformer Model. As such, it offers better temporal stability, reduces ghosting, and does a better job at smoothing edges. This new Transformer Model is available for all RTX GPUs.
For those who don’t know, Skyrim Upscaler All-In-One Build is a mod that adds support for all major PC upscalers. Alongside DLSS 4.5, it adds support for AMD FSR 4.0 and Intel XeSS 2.0. Not only that, but it supports all 3 framegen techs, including DLSS Multi-frame Generation for RTX 50 and the new XeFG, which works for all vendors’ GPUs.
It’s also worth noting that this new version of the mod adds support for FSR4 Redstone. This means that there is support for the FSR Frame Generation 4.0 ML-based and FSR4 Upscaling FP8 version.
By default, the mod uses INT8 FSR4. If you own an AMD Radeon RX 9000 series GPU, you’ll need to download the SkyrimUpscalerAIOBuild-FSR4-FP8(Addon).zip. Once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll have to place it below the mod. Then you have the FP8 version of FSR4 Upscaling.
Sadly, this is a paid mod. There is no word yet on whether PureDark will ever release this mod for free. Right now, only those who have joined his Patreon are able to download it. This is a bummer, but it is what it is. PureDark is right now the only modder who has been constantly adding DLSS 4 Frame Gen and AMD FSR 4 Frame Gen in games that do not support them.
Speaking of Skyrim, here are some big fan expansions for it. The First one is Wyrmstooth. Wyrmstooth will add new quests and dungeons to the game. Then there is this mod, which brings elements from The Witcher games into Skyrim. Dragon Hall Tavern is a huge 2GB mod that adds quests, new places, an arena, and more. Then there’s Land of Vominhem, Apotheosis, and Legacy of the Dragonborn. Don’t forget to also check out this Castlevania-inspired mod. Modders have also recreated the classic PSX game, MediEvil, in Skyrim. Shumer and the Priest Kings is another DLC fan expansion mod with over 200 locations and 180+ quests. You can also download these Call of Duty and World of Warcraft mods. Oh, and here is another one that adds the cool Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to it. Lastly, we have this mod that adds six new islands to explore.
And that’s not all. Skyrim has other mods that add lots of cool stuff.
For instance, this mod allows you to destroy a lot of objects. You can also download this mod that makes the NPCs smarter. With this mod, NPCs will now have a dynamic AI system, and they’ll seek cover. Let’s also not forget this mod that adds a dynamic sanity system. SkyPal is another must-have mod. This mod brings Skyrim and Pokemon together, allowing you to become a Beastmaster.
In August 2025, we shared a mod that added support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Gen. Unfortunately, that was a paid mod. Still, as I said, Community Shaders adds support for DLSS 4, XeSS, and FSR. These are free to everyone.
Then we have this mod that adds a real-time dismemberment system. There is also a 112GB Mod that remasters all 32,000 textures to 8K. Naturally, this last mod is not compatible with this Studio Ghibli Mod. Thus, you’ll have to choose between them.
Have fun!
