Remember the Brutal Half Life Mod we reported back in 2018? Well, modder ‘zoonyarts’ has just released a brand new version of it that you can download right now.
Inspired by Brutal Doom, Brutal Half-Life makes Valve’s classic shooter most violent and addictive. As a tribute to the classic FPS games, it also brings some new weapons. For instance, it has an Aerosol Can similar to that of Blood.
Version 3.0 features seven new weapons. These are the M4a1, Mp40, the Duke 3D chaingun, Dynamites, the Aerosol can, the Usas12 auto shotgun and the M40a1 sniper rifle. Moreover, it has new maps that are inspired by Doom, DN3D, Quake, and Blood.
This latest version of Brutal Half-Life also comes with better graphics, as well as improved models, new animations and new sounds. It also has some new mechanics. For instance, players can manipulate objects, and vault various objects. Plus, there is a nice surprise for LucasArts adventure fans.

Speaking of the first Half-Life game, there are some other cool mods that you can download for it. For instance, Black Mesa: Military lets you experience the events of Half-Life from the perspective of a Hazardous Environments Combat Unit Marine. Then we have a mod that adds Full Ray Tracing/Path Tracing to it. This is a must for everyone who wants to re-experience the main game, so be sure to download it.
Now, if you don’t want Path Tracing, you can use this AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack. This pack will overhaul all of the game’s textures. However, its lighting won’t change in any way. Thus, you’ll get an experience closer to the vanilla game.
Finally, we have Half-Life: Delta. Half-Life: Delta is a Total Conversion Mod, featuring 4 chapters and 31 gameplay maps. Oh, and there is a new Aliens-based TC Mod, called Solitary Echoes.

I expected the trailer to show the campaign with brutal doom effects and weapons, but it looks like a mashup of "who knows what", I don't even know what I'm looking at… Terrible trailer.
I recognized the Duke Nukem 3D map in the trailer. Surprised me, since I hadn't skimmed the article before watching it.
