According to numerous reports, EVGA won’t be making any future NVIDIA graphics cards. According to GamersNexus, EVGA took this decision due to how it’s being treated by NVIDIA. In other words, EVGA’s CEO Andrew Han claims that NVIDIA treated EVGA badly, unfairly, and without a lot of respect.
EVGA will continue to provide support for the existing current generation products, and will continue to provide the current generation products. So, assuming you bought an EVGA GPU yesterday, you’ll still be covered by its 3-year warranty. Furthermore, EVGA does not plan to start manufacturing Intel or AMD GPUs.
Steve from GamersNexus goes into more details about EVGA’s decision to stop making NVIDIA GPUs, so be sure to watch his video.
NVIDIA responded to this with the following statement (thanks PCGamer).
“We’ve had a great partnership with EVGA over the years and will continue to support them on our current generation of products. We wish Andrew [Han] and our friends at EVGA all the best.”
From the looks of it, both EVGA and NVIDIA do not plan to reconsider their decisions. So yeah, don’t expect to see any future EVGA GPUs anytime soon!

Nvidia being a dikhead as usual and EVGA’s CEO making things personal.
Pity, EVGA almost became my go to aftermarket company.
EVGA has been the go to for decades bro…
Maybe in America because EVGA is an American company? People’s first choice here in Switzerland is ASUS.
Exactly. I don’t even think I ever heard of anyone having EVGA in my part of the world.
Yet in my country, EVGA has been the standard choice for NVIDIA since the 900 series.
EVGA was 40% of WORLDWIDE SALES for nVidia GPU’s.
Why would we care what country made it lol
Worldwide includes America too, no?
Country of origin matters because These companies have the biggest market share in their own countries and then start expanding into other countries where they have to compete against other foreign and domestic brands. You can expect apple to have the biggest market share in the US but not in Korea. The same goes for Samsung in Korea.
Let me say it again. EVGA… Accounted for 40% of all nVidia’s profits and sales.
There i changed some words. EVGA is massively important to nVidia. They are without question the best at what they do.
Apple having market share doesn’t actually mean anything when the hardware isn’t being used for what we are talking about.
Do you really think apple is going to break into gaming?
Country of origin is completely irrelevant too. The tech is all invented in the US and exported for fabrication… For now.
Has anyone here said EVGA is not important to Nvidia? I don’t really know what you’re trying to say here.
Country of origin 100 percent matters, there are countless MBA research papers that take this fact as granted. It’s literally basic business management.
If you’re arguing against that, I doubt we could have a productive conversation.
Only in the US, outside of the US no one bought EVGA due to their poor quality.
Only in the US, outside of the US no one bought EVGA due to their poor quality.

well, after BFG pulled the plug.
Johnny, all these companies are hit and miss. I still have my gtx 690 for 10 years now works like a charm. My Titan X Maxwell was also an Asus, that blew out and their rma didn’t even contact me after I filled out the form. For years after I hated Asus. Then I finally switch to Sapphire, that Vega 64 blew out in 6 weeks and sapphire had the best support FOR ME. Now I have a 6800 XT & it’s Asus again, this card is built like a damn tank. See where I’m going with this?
I see where your going with it…you sir have sh*t luck with gpus.
My old 290x still kicks a*s in Vulkan! Matches my 1080ti all day lol

History repeating itself one more time, lmao!
Less competition in the market is a bad thing for all of us.
Came as a surprise to me when I read the news earlier. EVGA has been Nvidia’s #1 board partner for years.
40% of nVidia consumer chip sales were done by EVGA! They are the best buy far. They released a 450w bios for the 3080ti FTW3 Ultra (and some other cards) and I could lock it to 2200mhz without issue.
If you needed support you could have a HUMAN on the line answering questions in like 2 min.
I’ve never had an EVGA product die or break. The 3 year warranty would cover it anyways. They were amazing.
Who remains : Asus and Gigabyte known for good quality products. But EVGA departure is a big loss to Nvidia.
Is it? How so? The other partners will just gets their share of chips so that they can sell more. I don’t think Nvidia will feel anything from this. It might lose sales in some countries across the globe but nothing too big.
nVidia wants aib’s gone.
EVGA sold 40% of ALL nVidia GPU’s. 40%! That’s huge.
I knew they were stopping Nvidia production, but they left the GPU market altogether
Damn.
EVGA was already dead in EU for some time. Shame. They had some nice and quality designs compared to the junk provided by Gigabyte, PNY,Palit,KFA.
Nvidia has destroyed the margins of its aibs by increasing their own.
Others could face the same fate, and Huang will turn his company like Apple.
And yet they thumbed you down for this truth. These idiots have no idea what Nvidia’s margin is. 70% margins, that is insane. People are triple paying for their rubbish and NVIDIA’S will still complain.
I fkin came out of retirement from these comments to mourn with my gaming brothers and sisters. It’s a huge loss. I for one was ONLY buying evga for my gpu ever since the gtx580 back then… i guess it’s asus now ? Ugh it’s a shame
I always bought EVGA, that sucks massively
Best news I’ve heard all year. eVGA finally realize what Nvidia really is. Wish eVGA all the best in wherever they choose to Rome next.
Nvidia has been a plague in this hobby for well over a decade now. I have no problem dumping them for AMD, and losing a few fps, if that’s the cost.
I’m done fueling the monster that does nothing but hurt this market and hobby.
Some serious muppets in these comments. I mean, I’ve of heard brand loyalty, but you have 6 complete retards, that are sucking corporate c**k downvoting your truth.
You don’t lose any FPS dude. I dumped them back in 2018, best things I’ve ever done. AMD has a better standard color than Nvidia does, more vibrant and lifelike. Nvidia’s color is washed out, right out of the box. That’s one main reason Im happy with my switch. Yes, here comes the idiots saying, “buh buh but you can tweak”, that’s is certainly not the point. Besides three out of the box computer being better the driver situation is better. From time to time you’ll, see people clowning and drivers vs Nvidia and that’s when I know the don’t own an AMD card and their mouth is spewing pre 2015 mistakes. Trust me you won’t regret it. Too bad AMD can be just as a greedy as Nvidia, a corpo will always be a corpo.
But I rather deal with red devil than the green devil. Better bang for your buck. Nvidia is on the business of BS upselling. From GameDontWorks to Now RTX as their new hustle. Constantly coming up with more solutions to gimp the competition which in turn gimb their own cards the worse. The Witcher 3 comes to mind, with that tessellation over kill THAT DID NOTHING BUT GIMP NVIDIA’S OWN CARDS. AMD find the culprit (pumped up x64 tessellation) and then hairworks actually worked better on AMD hardware than Nvidia once you scale back tessellation. You can look this up and watch the AMD engineers scoff at that attempted sabotage, that backfired on Nvidia. This is one of many reasons why I despise Nvidia. Make the switch dude you won’t regret it. Had a Vega 64, then now a 6800 XT. Very beastly cards.
I haven’t had an amd card since the 290x. I upgrade every gen and always get the xx80ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming.
I game at 4k120 and I’ll likely switch to rDNA3. It won’t have any issue there with RT that’s better than the 3000 series but not quite as good as the 4000.. yet. Just wait until PCIE Gen5 has a bunch of users and AMD releases the highest end card of the generation.
Also why is nobody talking about the 12 gig tiny bus 4080 actually being the 4070 but they needed to charge more money.
12 gig tiny bus is what nvidia does best. 10 years ago they created one of the fasted card that even bested everything till the 1080 ti came a long. That card was the GTX 690. Nvidia gimped that dual GPU by giving it 2GB each. That is what Nvidia does best. They’ll give you a fast car with flat tires. The GTX 690 was an extremely fast card but it’s vram made sure it couldn’t keep up. One of the saddest thing to watch.
I think the 970 was worse. A “4 gig” card but to use a smaller bus they did a pool of 3.5 gigs and a pool of half a gig.
Then with one of the 1550’s or one of those low end models they had 2 versions. Identical boxes basically. One used DDR4 as VRAM and the other used gddr5. The one that used DDR4 was like 30-50% slower.
They wouldn’t even be #1 if they didn’t spend years cheating benchmarks vs ATI back even if it won the best 3dmark score that’s what people bought and they would detect when it was running via the driver and overclock the core and memory but report normal clocks.
They got away with it for like 5 years and by the time they got caught ati was broke. Plus nVidia had a plan for when they got caught and it was gameworks.
The AMD Fine Wine effect was actually AMD intercepting gameworks code (HBAO+ for example) and then injecting their own code that would look identical to nVidia’s but run better.
The downside was it took them a few weeks to do it because they had to do it for ever game separately.
Then I think you mentioned Witcher and the 64x tesselation on hair… I had a 290x then and forced 16x tesselation and it looked identical.
The worst though was crysis 2 and the ocean. Even though you almost never saw it it was there and running with tons of tesselation.
RDNA3 is going to be fantastic, especially when they push it which won’t happen until a decent number of people are on PCIE Gen5. Then we have RDNA4 which is going to shock people. Some new tech is in it and it’s going to change things more than DLSS2 did.
Say no more than that 3.5 GB 970. I don’t know how they get away with this stuff. No matter how many times Nvidia get caught red handed, these fools will still hunt you down like a dog for revealing the truth. They have the most vapid fanbase. But apart from the x64 tessellation on the Witcher 3, that destroyed even Nvidia cards. The AMD engineers figured out what the problem was and like you suggested x16 did the same thing.
This is nvidias greatest offense of all time, Batman Arkham Knight. Nvidia knew that iron Galaxy messed up the port and no card could run the game at a stable 60 FPS. So what did Nvidia did? The took a gameplay video of Arkham knight and sped it up so it looked like the game was running at 60 FPS. BLATANT FRAUD! Till this day the video is still up in NVIDIA’S YouTube channel promoting gameworks. We found out what they did but listening to the video carefully, the npcs during the fight sounded like chipmunks. Nvidia didn’t rebut this or take down the video from their YouTube channel. Type in “Batman Arkham knight NVIDIA gameworks” watch and listen to your hearts content. Just be sure to use headphone.
RDNA3 is going to be fantastic and highly scalable. When PCIE Gen5 has a good size user base watch out for a 3090ti killing monster from amd.
It’s stunning to see the either complete and utter morons in here downvoting comments calling out Nvida, or, they’re bots. I’d lean either way.
I just discovered the AMD BOTS!!!
https://uploaddeimagens.com.br/images/004/024/921/original/AMB_fanboys_de_merda.jpg
Great detective work, Sherlock. XD
LMAO, ??? modern day Sherlock right there.
Exactly. These AMD asslickers are just as POS as AMD themselfs = they dont mean sh*t. Not even worth a piss in the snow!
So everyone that doesn’t share your enthusiasm for Nvidia is a AMD asslicker? Oh boy what an argument you’ve got there. Winning stuff indeed. As it ever occurred to you that people have legit grievances with Nvidia, just like how you probably doesn’t care for AMD?.. I guess not, you are very dismissive.
LOL!!
Mostly I disagree with your complaints, but this is the comment i 110% agree with
It’s very telling of who you are talking to, when you even had to explain this simple concept to them in the first place.
We’re not exactly dealing with the upper echelon of intellect here.
I laughed so hard @ “upper echelon of intellect here”. That stung for sure. Made my night with this response ?
I’m sure while he typed it he was giggling to himself and when he clicked post he was like…. I’m such a badass and that dude is probably so pissed!
Oh the irony of that comment you made escaping your small brain…
LOL..GTFO A$s Licker AMD f*g!
Imagine being so fu*&ing du*b to lick the boots of one company, bashing the competition and not realizing they both laugh all the way to the bank from you milk cows :))))
Also most people vote with their wallets, as smart humans generally do.
He hasn’t figured out that the 4080 12 gig tiny bus is actually the 4070 and they are just raising prices across the board.
I love EVGA. I’ve had the last 3 xx80ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming cards.
RDNA3 is a fantastic architecture.. I’d pay attention to it and stop acting foolish.
The 4000 series is fantastic but it’s also going to be expensive and power hungry.
The 4080 12 gig with the tiny memory us is really the 4070. Welcome to nVidia hiking prices again. This chip is insane expensive to make and cool. Price is irrelevant to me because I work in tech and I don’t think my job is going anywhere but if it does… Or if you’re happy with 4k120 and some excellent RT then RDNA3 is the wtg
there are people who buy evga cards ? i heard about evga all the time…. but i never saw anybody owning an evga card XD most of time it’s msi or gygabite or asus
Depends on your region. EVGA seems to be the go to AIB in North America. But in Asia it’s Asus, Gigabyte, MSI.
They’ve never really been a thing outside of the US.
The thing EVGA had going for it is customer service so people could easily return defect cards. But their hardware was poor quality.
I think the CEO is making a huge mistake by getting out of the GPU market entirely. He should really consider working with intel and/or AMD as this is a good opportunity for all these parties. Otherwise I think he’s going to sink the company. Sure he says there won’t be layoffs but we know he’s BS’ing. There is no way they’d be able to reshuffle all those graphics cards engineers without laying off a bunch of them.
He won’t work with either because of their NCA (Non-Compete Agreement) with Nvidia. They already had RTX 4090 prototypes in the making. So at least two years until they can work with AMD or Intel.
The non compete doesn’t prevent them from working with AMD aside from they wouldn’t get nVidia chips.
RDNA3 will be profitable for everyone but the 4000 series won’t.
That contract also wouldn’t hold up in court. nVidia will eventually lose all Aib’s. They want to do the reference card and that’s it. They don’t need aib’s making money they could be making.
That’s why evga left and despite owning the last 4 xx80ti FTW3 Ultra’s, I understand the decision.
nVidia is screwing everyone with these prices. Hell the 12 gig 4080 is really the 4070. Just look at the memory bus
I have owned EVGA cards for years and never had an issue. The only thing that I had an issue with is some damage I caused when I installed one, I emailed them and they quickly replaced it and it was my own fault. They’ve had great support and one of the best warranties….so people complaining their terrible build quality and and horrible cards are just outright ridiculous. Plus, half the people commenting haven’t even seen the video explaining it all. They are literally keeping their employees on and paying them regardless of the department existing anymore. Best Nvidia card manufacturer. Period. Really the party to blame is Nvidia. They seemed to have a pretty tyrant like relationship with EVGA.
EVGA took the morality route and got out of a toxic relationship and people are trashing on them? Says alot about those people.
This is due to the Ethereum mining crash that happened 2 days ago.
EVGA realized they can’t sell all their stock to miners anymore.
Good riddance EVGA, they were already dead outside of the US due to their poor quality.
Evga was the only brand that sold cards at msrp doing the mining crazy on their website.
Yup, in stores too. I got my 3080ti FTW3 Ultra for the same price I paid for the 2080ti FTW3 Ultra.
MSRP right at the height of the shortages and my friend found me one at microcenter. I said yes please and sent him the money via PayPal.
EVGA is 40% of nVidia sales.
This has nothing to do with Ethereum. This is an Nvidia problem. They forced evgas hands with Greed and now they expect them to pay for losses. C’mon dude, Nvidia has always been a pr*ck.
There is zero chance they are going to be covering warranty on all those mining cards that people have purchased warranties by the thousands on for the next 10 years I’m guessing.
Meh, i only ever buy Asus or Msi gpu’s, motherboards etc anyway
John, you could have included in the article that EVGA won’t be making Intel or AMD cards either, they completely leave the GPU market. Your imprecise article only fueled AMD cultists and made them puke all over the board even worse
EVGA has always been good to me. I had to send them back 4-5 different 3090’s because they kept breaking. They replaced them all. It was frustrating to have to do it that many times but they gave me a new one each time. Same with my 770’s back in the day.
While it’s unfortunate to see an OEM go, they had a pretty much a non-existent presence in Europe.
Never had an EVGA card, never knew anyone with one either.
While it’s unfortunate to see an OEM go, they had a pretty much a non-existent presence in Europe.
Never had an EVGA card, never knew anyone with one either.
Good. Maybe we’ll see more founders editions. Nvidia won’t be selling fewer GPUs for sure.
Oh nVidia… Wth have you done?! They sold 40% of your chips! I really hope we see an EVGA 7950XT FTW3 Ultra Gaming…
I’ve been buying that line since the 1080ti FTW3 but it’s time to make a change.
4000 series is fantastic no doubt but RDNA3 will be too and AMD is holding back because of pcie5 but once enough people are using it with beefy PSUs.. they are going to push RDNA3 in ways nVidia can’t.
Surely amd can replicate DLSS3 but I don’t think I want them to. It’s like smooth motion on a TV. What if the algorithm guesses wrong? There’s a reason we saw it with a car just driving straight vs no DLSS.
This year is fantastic. Next year will be too.
Stfu dude. EVGA was 40% of the nVidia market. Anyone else make a 3080ti that can lock the core to 2200mhz and the memory to 21.5 Gbps without hard crashing?
I was running cyberpunk at 4K80 FPS, RT enabled, basically everything maxed and DLSS on quality.
It was a beastz especially with rebar and if you had low latency system memory and I run 4000mhz CL14-14-14-34 on a 5800x
