miHoYo has announced that update 3.1 for Genshin Impact will release on September 28th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team has revealed its key features, and shared a new trailer for it.
According to the team, this update will extend the Sumeru area by adding a huge desert area. It will also feature King Deshret’s Mausoleum, dangerous dungeons, and new Archon Quests with two Fatui Harbingers.
Players will also find two new boss enemies. These are the Semi-Perpetual Control Matrix and Blightdrake (which will come with new Character Level-up Materials). Furthermore, Nilou, Cyno, and Candace will be joining as playable characters from Sumeru. Players will also reunite with Razor and other old friends in Monstadt’s festival Weinlesefest. And lastly, there will be events and rewards in and outside the game.
