Ubisoft has revealed the full patch notes for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Title Update 1.3.1. This Update will be 26GB in size on PC and promises to feature a number of game improvements, as well as a new Nightmare combat difficulty.

This brand new update will fix instances where Eivor, NPCs, or the longship would get stuck. It will also resolve numerous UI/HUD issues. Additionally, it will address a number of graphics or lighting issues, as well as various animation issues.

Ubisoft also claims that this patch packs various performance and stability improvements. Realistically though, you should not expect any major improvements.

  1. Another one…
With that ImPrOvEd PeRfOrMeNcE aNd StAbIlItY bs.
Enjoy our beta with LOW GPU utilization bug.. I mean feature since 1.04

    1. Don’t have to be even a bug – With the codemonkey’s @UBI doing the coding along with their typical tons of drm layers could make that happen either way. The cpu is already working VM/Denuvo/UDontPlay/Steam and then finally the game.

Most game engines are capped by a single cpu thread no matter how powerful the gaming rig are and it seems UBI have become worse and worse to keep that critical component “lean” resulting in poor gpu utilization for instance.

Almost have to wonder if they are crippling their titles PC performance on purpose!

      1. They’ve always hated PC players, labelling them famously as “pirates”. Now they can release minimum effort PC port, swim in the money from the sales and also mock the PC “pirates”.

    2. it’s the sh**ty outdated engine they use, they been using it for over 10 years now… Anvil engine… it’s absolute trash… renders water and far away trees nicely so fools people into thinking the game looks gorgeous, yet nobody ever talks about the upclose terrible looking texture and pop in as well as the optimization thats very poor as well

    major improvements.”

most realistic comment ever non of their previous updates has really made any much impact performance wise so it’s just normal to expect the same thing on this patch heck most if not all of the game breaking bugs when the first came out is still in there after all these months since it’s initial release.

  3. What in the actual f*k? 26GB update…? Shoddy file compression, shoddy quality assurance, shoddy game, shoddy developer.

  4. This game was released almost a year ago. Probably most people that wanted to play the game already have and moved on to something else.

  5. All I see is a lot of crying from people who don’t own the game… I have a Ryzen 3700X with a RX 590 and the game runs great. 😀

  6. Put 70 hours into this game since release, not a single problem…. stopped playing a few months, but now I’m back playing and ever since installing the 1.3 update, it’s been constant crashes every 15-30 minutes… and Reddit is flooded with users experiencing the same issue. Has something to do with Ubisoft Connect or the DRM, almost positive….
Pretty sure if I grab ahold of “the other” copy of this game I’ll see no crashes at all
