Cold Iron Studios has released a new gameplay trailer for Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a cooperative third-person survival shooter that will release on August 24th.
The game is set in the iconic Alien universe, 23 years after the original Alien trilogy. You play as a fireteam of hardened marines fighting to contain the Xenomorph threat.
Players will face overwhelming odds against many enemy types, including numerous different Xenomorphs. Additionally, players will be able to ambush and outsmart all of the game’s enemies.
Lastly, Aliens: Fireteam will feature five unique classes, each with their own abilities and perks. It will also offer a wide variety of weapons and mods.

Coop shooters might be meh but visually the game is spot on….hold on… 0:27, a pulse rifle with an ak magazine and some large optic on top of it…yeah no.

enough with the alien isolation simping. Visually it looked amazing but it was buggy and extremely boring. Didnt sell well. Creative assembly put alot of work and money and the game didnt sell so stop complaining and asking for as sequel. This game on the other hand while generic and repetitive is probably gonna sell better due to being one of the type of games that do sell. this is why they are making it.

AI is a great game! Don’t listen to the goat, still needs to prove himself probably doesn’t even lift. An AI 2 game with stealth and combat would be awesome. Firesteam looks like just another shooter.
It’s not really much of a gameplay.
Visually this does Aliens justice. I like that they accurately call it “Aliens” as well and not “Alien” to mark the big difference between the slow horror of the original film and the standard action story structure of the second movie.
Doubts remain because third person multiplayer games usually suck and AI in “player vs AI” games usually sucks.

This industry, sadly, is just about making money now, not good games.
