While EA and DICE plan to officially reveal the new Battlefield on June 9th, the first gameplay screenshots from it have been leaked online. These screenshots appear to be from the game’s alpha build, and they are of a low resolution. Still, we believe that most BF fans will be interested in them.
From what we know so far, Battlefield 2021/Battlefield 6 will release on both current-gen & old-gen platforms. The game will be using the latest version of the Frostbite Engine, and promises to deliver a “true next-gen experience“.
Battlefield 2021 will have maps with a day/night cycle and dynamic weather. Players will also be able to customize nearly every single aspect of the weapons.
In this new BF game, Levolution will be present and will be more than a gimmick. According to the well-known Battlefield/Call of Duty leaker, Tom Henderson, Levolution will be more like a part of the core game, and will affect its gameplay.
The game will have skins and cosmetics, so expect EA to monetize them via MTX. Some of them are ronin helmet, juggernaut suit, cool body armours, armour on the shoulders, and more.
Lastly, a trailer that was intended to be shown internally was also leaked a while back.

Reminds me of Battlefield 4 so that’s excellent news.
BF4 also gave me PTSD with its horrendous rubberbanding issues and bad networking servers issues for over 14 months from launch.
Ah yeah I remember hearing about that. I didn’t start till like 18 months after it was out.
DICE LA completely saved BF4 and turned into a “darling” of the series, even though it was awful for at least a year. I think DICE LA is working on BF6 so there’s a good chance it will be polished on the technical/network side. They did wonders with the netcode of BF4.
I’m praying they cut the cultural marxist crap. Battlefield was always fun to play with a group of friends.

At least it looks pretty ok aesthetically, they didn’t go for the minimalist low effort route most games, including the previous 2 Battlefields, go for nowadays.
The UI guy probably isn’t did more than mobile games.
Interesting how all of the leaked Battlefield 6 stuff thus far has been blurry, low resolution, low quality, etc. So far it all looks like something from the early 2000’s. Have any of these leaks been verified?

Not entirely, BF4 was mediocre (multiplayer was great tho). I just think the modern city setting is overused, particularly in Battlefield. BF1 was solid.
