NVIDIA will talk about its next generation mainstream GPU at Hot Chips 30 in August 2018

It appears that NVIDIA will be talking about its next generation mainstream GPU in August at the Hot Chips 30 symposium. According to its schedule, NVIDIA’s Stuart Oberman will talk about the company’s next-generation mainstream GPU, hinting towards a possible Q3 release.

From what we’ve heard, NVIDIA may release its new high-end graphics cards in July, with third-party models arriving in August. Of course nothing is set in stone yet, so things may change.

Some gamers were expecting NVIDIA to unveil the new graphics card during its GTC Taiwan keynote. However, that wasn’t the case. Some gamers also expect NVIDIA to reveal details about its new mainstream GPUs at Computex, however, we haven’t heard anything trustworthy other than rumours.

It will be interesting to see when NVIDIA will announce and release its new graphics cards, so stay tuned for more.

Thanks to our reader Deathstroke for bringing this to our attention!

  1. So John, when I bring something to your attention. like the FAR CRY 5’s DLC news, GPP and other new stuff, you seem to be LEAST bothered about making an article on it, or even look into it ?

I’m not asking for any credit, but it seems you have been ignoring my emails/comments, and other news references as well.

This was already posted on VCZ.

    1. Does DSOG accept articles written by fans? If so, write up some articles and maybe send them to John. They might just share your work.

        1. I understand your passion regarding in bringing some news to a site like DSOGaming, in were that you do some awareness to some news, but you can do a DM to John or their email, be like a spam if you have too, but never complain in their comment section 🙂 This is just my 10 cents just for you. on how to get acknowledgment on different topics and help a site 🙂 Glad to have you around here!

        1. I wish I knew how to write articles. When I try it just ends up as erotica. Every single time.

    2. Nope, we are not ignoring anything. When we’ve already seen a story, we obviously won’t give credit to a reader. When we haven’t seen a story, we will (check the AMD driver story for example).

  2. I pretty well know that. GPP is dead NOW, but not at that time when I posted a link, when it was active. Heck, even when the GPP program terminated, I brought this to John’s attention as well, but to no avail.

Also, I brought this issue to John as well, with regards to a fake ASUS Twitter Account, in which the user claimed that ROG branding is coming to AMD cards.

That was a fake Twitter account under the name of AREZ/asus. It’s suspended now, after ASUS took an official action.
