NASCAR ’14 – NVIDIA CUDA-powered Particle Effects Showcased

Better late than never I guess. In order to spark interest for the NASCAR game that was released back in February, Nvidia and Eutechnyx released a new video showcasing the PhysX effects that are being supported. NASCAR ’14 PC supports GPU-accelerated CUDA particle effects, meaning that Nvidia owners will enjoy better sparkles, particles and smoke effects. As a result of that, cars can push and drag the smoke around the track as they pass through a large cloud and smoke stays longer on screen. Enjoy! Fan-made Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Parody Trailer Looks Epic, Mashes Up COD With Crysis

The first that came to our mind while watching the official Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer was Crytek’s franchise, Crysis. After all, the nanosuit of Crysis offered most of the gameplay mechanics that this new Call of Duty game brings to the table. And it appears we were not the only ones noticing such a thing. YouTube’s member ‘silly wabbit’ has created a parody trailer that puts together COD: Advanced Warfare with Crysis. The end result shows why this new COD is obviously inspired by Crytek’s IP, so kudos to Crytek for introducing the nanosuit a couple of years ago. Enjoy!
