Valve announces “The International Tournament” for DOTA 2 – Coming Out Later This Year

Valve has just announced that DOTA 2 will be publicly playable at this year’s GamesCom and that there will be an international tournament for it. The International will feature the 16 best Dota teams in the world competing in the Dota 2 Championships through a group stage, double elimination playoff format over the course of Cologne’s five-day trade show (August 17th – 21st) and it will be broadcast in four languages (Chinese, German, Russian, and English) free of charge. Get FXAA in DX9 PC games NOW + Comparison Shots

A user at 3DCenter found a way to enable FXAA in pretty much every DX9 PC game and guess what, it bloody works. As you may have guessed, we have some comparison shots from various games that showcase this new AA type in full effect so make sure to check them out after the jump. The only downside of this new AA technique is that the image get’s blurrier but according to the modder, there is room for further improvements to avoid this blurriness. GTA San Andreas receives a graphical overhaul with the final version of UltraHD Mod

I’m sure there are a lot of San Andreas fans out there so if you are one of them, get ready to relive it in HD with the Ultra HD Mod. What we have here is basically a GTA: San Andreas mod that adds special effects processed by the API and offers better graphics. And although this is not as impressive as the iCEnhancer or some other ENB series mods for GTA4, it can sometimes come pretty close to GTA4’s vanilla version. Top 10 UK PC Charts – Nothing can top The Sims 3, Witcher 2 and Portal 2 re-enter

Another week PC gamers, another Top10 UK Charts and as you may have already guessed, The Sims 3 is still at the top of the UK PC charts. The Witcher 2 and Portal 2 re-enter the charts, while Civilization V and Fable 3 lost some places and didn’t manage to make it to the Top 10. EVO2K11’s best moment: The bracket reset in Marvel vs Capcom 3

Oh boy, EVO2K11 was great. Mortal Kombat fans witnessed for the first time Mortal Kombat 9 in Evo and both Marvel vs Capcom 3 and SSF4AE events were mind-blowing and full of surprises. And although master Daigo has finally been defeated, the best moment of EVO2K11 was by far the bracket reset during Marvel vs Capcom 3’s Grand Finals. Viscant was dominating when suddenly PR ROG made a beautiful comeback against Dark Phoenix and the whole hall went nuts. You really need to see this, so jump to 0:30.
