The Witcher 3 8K video with Reshade Ray Tracing & 100 Mods gives us a glimpse at Next-Gen Graphics

A couple of days ago, CD Projekt RED revealed that the next-gen version of The Witcher 3 has been delayed. Still, PC gamers can already get a taste of next-gen graphics/visuals thanks to mods.

The following 8K video showcases the game with Reshade Ray Tracing and over 100 mods. As such, it can give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from The Witcher 3 Next-Gen.

Now as we’ve already said, Reshade Ray Tracing is not as good as native Ray Tracing. Nevertheless, this RT solution can improve the graphics of pretty much all games (and can simulate native RT). However, and while The Witcher 3 Next-Gen may have better Ray Tracing effects, it might not pack all the improvements that all the other mods bring to the table.

The good news here is that Digital Dreams has shared the list of mods used. As such, and by downloading them from here (scroll down to the “modlist 2022” file), you can make the game look as good as in this video.

Speaking of The Witcher 3, we also suggest the following mods. The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project is a must-have mod and does not need any introduction. The Dark Souls-inspired combat mechanics modHumans of the Continent 4K-2K Textures and the Witcher 2 Overhaul Mod are also three cool mods. And then there are Shades of IronTrue Fires Mod, and a mod that adds a new standalone quest. And finally, there is an amazing first-person mod.

Have fun!
