Ninja Theory originally announced Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II in 2019. And now, after four years, we finally got a proper gameplay trailer. Not only that but Microsoft has confirmed that the game will be released in 2024.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is using Unreal Engine 5 and this trailer gives us a glimpse at what Ninja Theory has managed to achieve with Epic’s engine. And yes, the game is still among the best-looking UE5 games I’ve seen.
In the sequel, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.
