CI Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2. This trailer showcases the new combat overhauls, including boss weapons, enhanced weapon upgrades, instant spell casting, and more, using new systems and techniques to help players gain the upper hand in any engagement.
Lords of the Fallen 2 is, as you may have guessed, a new Souls-like third-person game. Players will journey across a vast, war-torn kingdom crumbling from within, as the realms of the living and the dead begin to bleed into one. From moonlit citadels to time-ravaged temples, players will have to tread carefully as each step forward may well be their last.
Players will face tough, Soulslike battles where every hit counts. Combat is fast, smooth, and fierce. You can fight with swords, magic, close-range moves, or ranged weapons. You can also try many builds to find new ways to beat your foes. After each fight, you can finish enemies with brutal moves. You will also face huge, scary beasts in a dark world with no mercy. Each fight will test your skill, courage, and will to keep going.
The developers say combat will feel faster and more fluid than before. Lampbearers can now charge into fights with great speed and force. You will also have a much wider area to control. This means you must react fast and make smart choices. Each fight will feel like a dance with death.
You will also have more ways to fight. A wider range of weapons lets you switch with ease between close combat, ranged attacks, and spells. This gives you more freedom to try new tactics and builds.
Heavy attacks will also play a bigger role. They will do more than deal extra damage. You must choose when to use them. A smart move can help you win, but a bad choice can leave you open to a harsh hit. The game also adds new, brutal execution moves. These finishers add more depth to combat and make each fight even more fierce.
CI Games plans to release Lords of the Fallen 2 in the first quarter of 2027. The game will use Unreal Engine 5, and you can find its official PC system requirements here.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
