Stardock has released a brand-new gameplay trailer that highlights the massive living universe players will adventure through. In Star Control: Origins, exploration is a huge part of the game, and players can travel onto the surface of thousands of unique planets they’ve crafted to discover various points of interest and collect resources.
As the Captain of Earth’s first interstellar ship, players will encounter many things in space. Some, like saving stranded travelers or chatting with a variety of unique aliens to learn their history, will be non-threatening. Other encounters, though, will have players possibly facing complete annihilation merely for existing in the first place. According to the team, tough decisions with real consequences will shape how the galaxy remembers the human race.
