Battlefield: Hardline – 10 Minutes Of Beta Gameplay Footage

YouTube’s member ‘Freddy Dancer’ has shared a video, featuring 10 minutes of gameplay footage from the soon-to-go-live beta phase of Battlefield: Hardline. Battlefield: Hardline will be a cops versus thieves game that will be powered by Frostbite 3 engine, will feature both Single-Player and Multiplayer modes, and will feature destructible environments. 1. Looks more like a BF4 mod than a standalone game. Half the stuff in the video is either lifted straight from BF4 or reskinned.

    1. What amazes me is that they are basically ripping off Counter Strike now and not 10 years ago lol

        1. Uh, they aren’t the same in real life, sure. But in a videogame they’re just cosmetic changes.

          1. Soo completely different gunplay, 10 times bigger maps, vehicles, destructible environment don’t make anything different?

    2. probably because its more of a mod than a standalone game just from seeing it in action. Most of the assets are from BF4 it seems.

      1. That’s my point: “Battlefield” becomes meaningless if the game has nothing to do with … a battlefield.

That’s like having a spin-off of Happy Days called, Happy Days: Zombie Apocalypse.

(Who wouldn’t want to see The Fonz take out a whole army of the undead by tapping one on the forehead, but it wouldn’t really be Happy Days anymore, would it?)

  2. lol @ EA and at this game
btw: This video contains content from EA, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.

    1. Really? I assume any game company would want to take a video down that wasn’t supposed to be shown yet. Or then just release everything.
