YouTube’s member ‘Freddy Dancer’ has shared a video, featuring 10 minutes of gameplay footage from the soon-to-go-live beta phase of Battlefield: Hardline. Battlefield: Hardline will be a cops versus thieves game that will be powered by Frostbite 3 engine, will feature both Single-Player and Multiplayer modes, and will feature destructible environments. We expect EA to reveal more details about it in the coming days, so stay tuned for more. Enjoy!

Looks more like a BF4 mod than a standalone game. Half the stuff in the video is either lifted straight from BF4 or reskinned.
How is “cops versus thieves” Battlefield?
What’s next, Battlefield: Deep Sea Fishing?
What amazes me is that they are basically ripping off Counter Strike now and not 10 years ago lol
Ripping off CS? Not even close. Even the sides aren’t the same.
Uh, they aren’t the same in real life, sure. But in a videogame they’re just cosmetic changes.
Soo completely different gunplay, 10 times bigger maps, vehicles, destructible environment don’t make anything different?
don’t make anything different?
Straw man.
Then they should call it Battlefield: A Decade Late. 🙂
NO! But maybe we will see BF Golf vs Ice Hokey 🙂 Dont like it? Do own game
probably because its more of a mod than a standalone game just from seeing it in action. Most of the assets are from BF4 it seems.
It’s a spinoff, a game that isn’t traditional battlefield but with the battlefield flavor.
That’s my point: “Battlefield” becomes meaningless if the game has nothing to do with … a battlefield.
That’s like having a spin-off of Happy Days called, Happy Days: Zombie Apocalypse.
(Who wouldn’t want to see The Fonz take out a whole army of the undead by tapping one on the forehead, but it wouldn’t really be Happy Days anymore, would it?)
Yeah I think they shouldn’t go this route.
lol @ EA and at this game
btw: This video contains content from EA, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.
Really? I assume any game company would want to take a video down that wasn’t supposed to be shown yet. Or then just release everything.
OK, it looks like a mod. Even hud is the same as in BF4 xd

Rip in peace Battlefield 2002-2005 ;_;
Nah Bad Company 2 was great, but anything after that is COD bait.
‘Return to the gameplay area’ Jesus fucking Christ.
