Team Fortress 2 – Matchmaking & Competitive mode are now available
Fun fact: Valve promised that Team Fortress 2 would be receiving matchmaking functionalities a year ago. Well, it appears that it took the company a while but finally; Team Fortress 2 now features proper matchmaking mechanics. Valve has announced that the beta version of Vulkan support for Dota 2 is now available via DLC. As such, PC gamers can go ahead and download this new DLC in order to test the game with this new high-efficiency cross-platform graphics API for modern GPUs. Fan Half-Life: Opposing Force Sequel Gets Approved By Valve, To Be Sold Via Steam Next Month
Now here is a nice surprise. While Valve does not currently have any plans (at least officially) for a new Half-Life title, it did give its approval for the release of a fan sequel to Half-Life: Opposing Force. Which sounds awesome considering this will be the next Half-Life game we’ll be getting, even if it’s made by a single person (Richard Seabrook). Half Life 2: Episode Four – First Screenshots Revealed From This Cancelled Title
ValveTime has unearthed some screenshots from the fourth Episode of Half Life 2 that has been cancelled (yes yes, it was actually a fourth episode under development). This episode was in development by Arkane Studios in collaboration with Valve, and these new screenshots come to us via the personal portfolio of Robert Wilinski, a Senior Environment Artist at Arkane Studios between 2007 and 2008.
