Radius Gordello has released yet another fan remake of Konami’s cancelled Silent Hills PT in Unreal Engine 4, called Unreal PT. According to its description, Unreal PT was under constant development over the course of 9 months, starting in April 2018 and ending in January 2019. Textures, models, animations, gameplay, and code have been recreated from scratch (more details on this in the development logs). A lot of us were excited when it was revealed that 20th Century FOX had trademarked Alien: Blackout, right before the Video Game Awards 2018. Alien: Blackout was listed as a computer video game and even though it was not officially unveiled at that event, we’re pretty sure that it will eventually be announced, perhaps for next-gen platforms. Christian Hecht has shared a video, showing a highly detailed 3D model of the Gollum from The Lord of the Rings being rendered in real-time in Unreal Engine 4. Gollum’s 3D model looks absolutely incredible and it’s almost as detailed as the one we saw in the actual movies, so kudos to Christian for achieving that.
