Might and Magic: Heroes VI gets a new update; adds auto-matchmaking feature

Although Black Hole has gone bankrupt, a new update for Might and Magic: Heroes VI has just been released on Steam. This patch updates the game’s version to 1.3 and comes with auto-matchmaking and the ability to invite players from your friend list directly in-game, as well as various bugs fixes. Ubisoft has released a new video that showcases the multiplayer mode of the upcoming new Ghost Recon title. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released on the PC in June 15th and will feature high standard PC visuals (DX11 renderer, new Hi-Quality Assets, new Post Process Effects, multi-monitor solutions support, TriDef stereoscopic support), DirectX11 support with Tessellation (for soft 3D models), Compute Shaders-based realistic lighting (for Global Illumination), and Volumetric Fog. Far Cry 3 – First in-game multiplayer footage + new screenshots

Ubisoft have released some brand new screenshots for their upcoming FPS title, Far Cry 3. In addition, VG247 have uploaded the first in-game multiplayer footage from it. Far Cry 3 promises to bring something new and unexpected, while still building upon the foundations of excellence that are inherent to the Far Cry brand. Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier for Microsoft Windows PC will be available in stores and for digital download on June 15th. In addition, the company revealed some specific PC features for Ghost Recon Future Soldier. TERA – Pre-orders are now available, rated PEGI 12, details about digital and retail versions

Frogster has reminded us that TERA is slated for release next month and we felt the need to inform you about some of the game’s details. First of all, players are now able to pre-order it and the game has been rated PEGI 12. TERA is currently planned for a May 3rd release and there will be some differenced between the digital and the retail versions. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier – Inside Recon #3

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for their upcoming third-person tactical shooter, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Created by the team behind the console versions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, the game promises to feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is currently slated for an April release on X360 and PS3, with a PC version to follow at a later date. Ubisoft recommends a gamepad for AC3 PC, gamers request proper keyboard and mouse control scheme

I have to give my thanks to Sid Spyker for bringing this to my attention. In Gamespy’s latest coverage of Assassin’s Creed 3, Creative Director Alex Hutchinson said that he doesn’t see Ubisoft investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. Hutchinson thinks that if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you’ ll definitely need a controller. My guess is that this recommendation is mainly to the complaints of a lot PC gamers for both Assassin’s Creed 1&2 (as well as Revelations). Anno 2070 gets a new, huge update and 3 DLCs

Ubisoft and Blue Byte have released a huge update for their strategy game, Anno 2070, as well as 3 new DLCs. These DLCs are the Central Statistical Package, Crisis Response Package and Distrust Series Package and include new buildings, missions and skins for the game. Moreover, the update that got released features a number of fixes, additions and improvements. New Assassin’s Creed 3 Details; Ubisoft wants to deliver Assassin’s Creed 3.5, not just 3.0

Some pretty interesting details about Assassin’s Creed 3 got revealed today. First and foremost, Ubisoft wants to create Assassin’s Creed 3.5 and not just 3.0. That’s exactly what Ubisoft’s Creative Director Alex Hutchinson said while unveiling the game to the press. Bold words and we’ve definitely heard them before, so it will be interesting to see whether or not Ubisoft can live up to them.
