Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. In Splinter Cell: Blacklist, a group of 12 rogue nations have had enough of the United States’ military presence in their countries. In an effort to rid themselves of the occupation, they mastermind an ultimatum called The Blacklist – a countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. interests. Given a presidential mandate and the power to act above the law, players take on the role of lethal special operative Sam Fisher. As leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit, players must hunt down and stop these terrorists before The Blacklist countdown reaches zero. Ubisoft announced today the release of a new patch for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, introducing a garrison Reset option. The patch is now live for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Once players have conquered every garrison in their first run, they can reset them, and face the challenge all over again. Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag with commentary from Game Director, Ashraf Ismail. On the voyage to Havana with your ship The Jackdaw, learn the rules that Edward and his crew live by, and how they defy the empires of the 18th Century. Ubisoft has revealed some of the graphical features that will be featured in the PC version of Watch Dogs. As we all know, Watch Dogs is powered by the Disrupt engine; an engine that was developed to ‘have state of the art visuals on all its quality levels.’ This could obviously mean that the game won’t suffer from the optimization issues spotted in other Ubisoft titles, like Assassin’s Creed III (that is powered by a different engine, mind you). According to the official Russian-language fan site Assassins-Creed.ru, Ubisoft Kiev will be handling the PC version of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title. Ubisoft Kiev was also responsible for the PC versions of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Assassin’s Creed III.
