Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Patch 3 Now Available On The PC

Man, lots of Assassin’s Creed news today. Ubisoft has just released its latest patch for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Unity. This update weights 1.8GB and will be auto-downloaded from Steam or UPLAY. The update fixes around 300 bugs, so here is hoping that the stuttering issue – that has been plaguing the PC version – will be fixed. Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s Lighting Bug Is Caused By Different TOD Settings, Affects All Platforms

It appears the lighting issue that was spotted in the patched version of PS4 is nothing more than a bug related to the game’s TOD settings. This bug affects all platforms, and can be easily replicated on all of them. And given the fact that the patched version of PS4 suffers from it, we can safely say that it won’t be fixed on the PC via its upcoming patch. Ubisoft Offers Free DLC To All Assassin’s Creed: Unity Owners, Will Give Free Game To Season Pass Owners

Ubisoft has announced that it will be offering Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s upcoming Dead Kings DLC completely free to all of its owners. That’s one way – according to Yannis Mallat, CEO at Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto – to show the company’s appreciation to all gamers who have suffered from the game’s rocky launch. Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Patch 3 Releases Later This Week, Will Feature PC Specific Fixes

Ubisoft has just announced that its third title update for Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be released tomorrow on consoles and later this week on the PC. According to the French company, this patch will improved task scheduling tweak performance for Reach High Points (Synchronization). Let’s get one thing straight; we don’t enjoy or like bashing Ubisoft. Sure thing, the company has made some decisions that puzzled us, but we’re here to judge their games and not their ‘political’ or ‘financial’ decisions. After all, back in 2012 we declared Far Cry 3 as the most optimized game of that year, and last year Splinter Cell: Blacklist was our second most optimized title. The Crew Gets 101 Trailer, Far Cry 4 Gets Map Editor Trailer

Ubisoft has also released today two new trailers; one for The Crew and the other for Far Cry 4. With the The Crew’s trailer, Ubisoft is bringing us up to speed in this comprehensive look into the game’s world, cars and drivers.
