Earlier today, YouTube’s member ‘Scotty Mcbotley’ posted a video containing 10 minutes of gameplay footage from The Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda was quick to react, however the video got leaked and is currently available in a lot of video sharing websites. As you may have guessed, this is footage from an early build, meaning that this does not represent the final product. And for the time being, we’ll give Zenimax Online the benefit of doubt. During Sony’s E3 conference, Bethesda revealed a new gameplay trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online. The Elder Scrolls Online promises to bring the award-winning Elder Scrolls experience online for the first time. Using ZeniMax Online’s Megaserver technology, players will join one connected world with a built in social network that lets them stay up-to-date with everything their friends are doing. The game will feature a first-person perspective and is planned for a 2013 release on the PC (and a 2014 release on next-gen consoles). Enjoy! Bethesda has revealed today that the beta phase of The Elder Scrolls Online will be launching at the end of March. The big publisher has posted a Q&A article for this upcoming MMORPG, in which it states that a small beta test was completed on February 28th, and that the big push for its beta phase will start at the end of this month. Good news for all Elder Scrolls fans, as the registrations for The Elder Scrolls Online’s beta phase are now open. Unfortunately, we don’t know yet when this beta phase will kick off, meaning that it may take up to five months before you get your hands on it. Still, if you’re looking forward to it, you should go ahead and register. Bethesda has also released a new trailer for its MMO game that can be viewed below.
