Upcoming Chrono Trigger patch will bring back its original SNES graphics/visuals/sprites

Square Enix has announced that it will release a number of patches for Chrono Trigger over the coming months. The first patches will be coming later this month and although the publisher did not share their release notes, it did reveal that they will add an option to switch between the current high-resolution graphics and the original SNES visuals. New Final Fantasy XV update adds support for AMD Phenom II processors, fixes performance degradation

Square Enix has released a brand new update for Final Fantasy XV. According to the release notes, this patch adds support for AMD Phenom II processors and fixes some bug issues with NVIDIA’s Ansel tech. Furthermore, this patch also – partially – fixes the performance degradation issues we’ve already reported. Tomb Raider 1, 2, 3 remasters have been cancelled

Earlier this month, we informed you about the remastered versions of Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3 that were going to be released on Steam. These remasters were being developed by Realtech VR and they were basically mods that would require the original DOS games on Steam in order to work. Shadow of the Tomb Raider – Official Teaser Trailer Released

Square Enix has just released the official teaser trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The publisher has also confirmed that this new Tomb Raider game will release on September 14th, and that it will be fully revealed on April 27th. The source code of the official website for the new Tomb Raider game has just revealed a lot of new ‘secret’ details about it. This new Tomb Raider game will be titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will be released on September 14th, and while there will be an official reveal tomorrow, the publisher will start taking pre-orders on April 27th. Kaldaien’s latest Special K mod does not fix the performance degradation issues in Final Fantasy XV

Modder Kaldaien has released a new version of his Special K mod for Final Fantasy XV. According to the modder, this mod removes the anti-debug from Square Enix’s RPG, something that could result in better performance. However, and after numerous tests we can say, with 100% certainty, that this mod does not fix the performance degradation issues we’ve reported in our previous article.
