Square Enix and Nixxes Software have released a new PC update for Hitman: Absolution. According to its changelog, this patch offers performance enhancements on various hardware configurations. We’ve already seen that Absolution had some optimization issues, therefore it will be interesting to see whether Nixxes has addressed them or not. United Front Games has released a new patch for Sleeping Dogs that is said to fix the micro-stuttering issues that most PC gamers experienced with this open-world title. Nixxes Software and IO Interactive have released a new update for the PC version of Hitman: Absolution. According to its changelog, this patch adds an option to either lower or disable the game’s Bloom effect, improves – slightly – the general performance, and adjusts the game’s difficulty levels. Our dear friends over at VGLens have revealed two new tech demos for Square Enix’s Agni’s Technology. These demos show off two of the trailer’s characters, in which the developers adjust various characteristics on the fly. The level of detail is simply mind-blowing and it is no stretch to say that Agni’s Technology features the most detailed characters we’ve ever seen. So yes, we highly recommend taking a look at the following videos and let’s hope that Square Enix will reveal more news about the game that will be based on what we’ve seen so far on this tech demo. Our reader Sid Spyker has informed us about Square Enix’s upcoming, that is planned to be officially unveiled on December 12th. According to its teaser site, this game has something to do with stars. Therefore, we can assume that it is a new Star Ocean – or another, new space IP. It will also be interesting to see whether this game hits the PC, especially if it is a Star Ocean title.
