Phantasy Star Online 2 is a sequel to SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online, which was an online co-op action rpg that was released for the Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox and PC. SEGA revealed today the packshot of Renegade Ops. Renegade Ops is a top-down arcade shooter that is developed by Avalanche Studios and is slated for release this year on PSN, Xbox LIVE Arcade and PC. SEGA announced today that Spiral Knights, a free-to-play adventure with fast-paced, retro-inspired action, has grown to one million player accounts worldwide. Spiral Knights joined the Steam distribution service in early June after the official launch in April of this year. To celebrate this milestone, SEGA and Three Rings have also announced a new batch of content being added today, available for free to the many, many Spiral Knights players around the globe. SEGA released four new screenshots for their upcoming hero game, Captain America: Super Soldier. During his latest interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine, Randy Pitchford admitted that both Gearbox and SEGA should have just shut the hell up about Aliens: Colonial Marines. Randy has also admitted that it was a grave mistake to announce the game so early. That announcement was basically a result of Gearbox’s excitement, as they hadn’t even written the first line of code for it back then. SEGA released today a new trailer for their upcoming third person shooter, Binary Domain. Binary Domain is a squad-based shooter by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the creator behind the acclaimed Yakuza series. The game puts players in the middle of a fast-paced and intense battle for humanity in robot-invaded 2080 Tokyo. Binary Domain is slated for a 2012 release on PS3 and X360.
