Now that’s a really smart move. Relic has just made available the E3 Single Player Demo mission to the game’s open beta phase. This means that everyone who downloads the open beta client (via Steam) can play the demo that was featured at this year’s E3. SEGA has revealed via its latest financial reports that Aliens: Colonial Marines has sold 1.31 million units. Yeap, despite the controversy surrounding it, this new Aliens game has managed to surpass the one million mark, and was the second best selling title for the publisher (the best selling title was Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed that sold 1.36 million copies). Despite the controversy surrounding Aliens: Colonial Marines, Gearbox has released a new update for the PC version of it. This is a minor update that comes with compatibility support for “Reconnaissance Pack” multiplayer add-on, as well as various visual improvements, including new screen space ambient occlusion (SSAO) functionality.
