Overgrowth Alpha 152 Changes

Wolfire Games released a new video in which David Rosen, the company’s main programmer, is showcasing some changes that have been made to the game’s latest alpha version. David worked on some stealth mechanics and added a stealth chokehold with tethered movement, as well as body dragging that sports procedural foot placement for the legs of the main character. Overgrowth Alpha 150 changes – First attempts for Multiplayer implementation

Wolfire Games released a new video that showcases the changes that were made to Overgrowth’s latest alpha version. This week, David added controller support to the game, changed config key binding system to be more flexible, improved procedural stance animation and AI patrol pathfinding. Additionally, Overgrowth Alpha 150 features some new attempts for a Multiplayer mode and David is considering adding a local split-screen mode for a start. Enjoy the video after the jump. Overgrowth – Alpha 149 changes

Wolfire Games released today a new video in which the team’s lead programmer, David Rosen, showcases the changes that were made on the game’s latest alpha version. David added procedural foot movement that helps the characters look more focused and intense. Overgrowth – Alpha 147 showcases amazing character LOD and fins for fur effects

Wolfire Games released a new video for their third person action adventure fighting game, Overgrowth. This new video showcases a new character LOD and fins for fur effects. This LOD system is mind-blowing and carefully developed and as a result of that, you won’t easily notice the different levels of quality that this LOD system introduces. And no, it’s not the same with the one of most other games where the transition between the high and the low polygon model is quite obvious. Overgrowth – Alpha 146 changes

Wolfire Games released today a new video that showcases the changes that were made to the 146 version of Overgrowth’s Alpha. This week, the team’s main programmer, David Rosen, extended the active block system to work with weapons, removed the auto slow-motion effect from the fights and tweaked a bit the blood effects.
