NVIDIA Reveals Tegra X1, Fastest Mobile GPU, Runs Epic’s Elemental Tech Demo In Real-Time

During this year’s CES, NVIDIA revealed Tegra X1. Tegra X1 is based on the Maxwell architecture, supports OpenGL ES 3.1, Open GL4.5, DirectX 12 and AEP, and comes with 256 stream processors. New NVIDIA Video Shows Off GameWorks PhysX FleX Features

NVIDIA has released a new video in which the green team showcases its GameWorks PhysX Flex features. PhysX FleX is a particle based simulation technique for real-time visual effects. AMD’s Public Mantle SDK Coming This Year, NVIDIA & Intel Free To Use It

During a presentation by AMD’s Richard Huddy at PDXLAN, the Red team revealed that the public SDK for its lower level API, Mantle, will go live this year. As WCCFTECH reported, both Nvidia and Intel are free to write and release drivers that will enable Mantle on their hardware on all Mantle-enabled games once this public SDK goes live. It’s All About The Grass – New NVIDIA Video Shows Off Impressive Turf Effects

NVIDIA has released a new video, showing off Turf Effects; a new NVIDIA GameWorks technology which empowers users to simulate and render massive grass simulation with physical interaction. According to the green team, this grass technology provides a fully geometrical representation. Grass blades can be represented with a resolution as low as 3 triangles to several 100 triangles per blade by using continuous level of detail. This allows millions of grass blades to be simulated.
