Star Trek: The Video Game coming to PC and consoles in 2013, teaser trailer released

Namco released the teaser trailer for Star Trek: The Video Game. The action-packed combat game is set to launch the first quarter of 2013 prior to the May 17th theatrical release of the next Star Trek installment from director and producer J.J. Abrams and is developed by Digital Extremes. The game, through a license with CBS Consumer Products, is based on a stand-alone storyline that continues the adventure of iconic characters Kirk and Spock as they work together to stop a legendary enemy race bent on conquering the galaxy. Namco responds to PC gamers demand for removing GFWL from Dark Souls PC, petition approaches 20K signatures

A while ago, we informed you about the features of Dark Souls PC. As you may remember, Namco has revealed back then that the PC version would be using GFWL. Naturally, a lot of PC gamers got annoyed by it and decided to express their opinion on Namco’s forums. Not only that, but another petition got started with the hope to further push Namco in abandoning their plans of integrating Microsoft’s GFWL service in their upcoming title. Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition – PC Trailer, game will use GFWL

Born as a forlon hope from fans, the request to ignite the First Flame on the brand new land of PC has grown stronger and stronger. Infused with the support from countless souls from around the world, the request has turn real. Dark Souls is coming to PC, and it is coming loaded with a lot of new content. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be available on the PC platform in Europe and Australasia on August 24th 2012. At an event in Las Vegas, Namco showcases the game’s PC packshot but there was something that might discourage some PC gamers. The game will use GFWL. We know, it sucks but at this point, we don’t think that Namco will change or abandon their plans. Naturally, there is a petition but, well… don’t count in that. Enjoy the trailer! Street Fighter X Tekken Episode 1 – Animated Short

Capcom has released the first episode of an animated short film for Street Fighter X Tekken. This first part shows some of the game’s characters and explains Shadoloo and Mishima Zaibatsu are fighting each other. It looks cool, but the animated short is only available in English. We strongly believe that there should be a Japanese version and hopefully Capcom will release one. In other news, Street Fighter x Tekken is slatted for a May 11th release. Enjoy! With the upcoming release of Dark Souls PC, we thought it would be appropriate to share our thoughts on the ideal and proper PC version of Dark Souls. Obviously, most PC gamers would love to see better textures and better graphics but let’s be realistic; that ain’t gonna happen. Therefore, we’ll be realistic on our demands and we’ll present you what features the PC version of Dark Souls should support. Success: Dark Souls is coming to the PC this August

And as you may have guessed, all those rumors were true all along. Dark Souls is officially coming to the PC. As promised, german magazine PC Action had a feature for a console exclusive RPG hitting the PC and that was Dark Souls. The PC version will be called ‘Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition’ , will feature new boses and will be released this August. You can find below an image from the cover of PC Action. PAC-MAN gets a fan short film; trailer released, film coming later this week

Now that is just great. SteelehouseDigital is creating a fan film for Namco’s classic game, Pac-Man and its teaser trailer has just been released. The company has stated that the full film will be coming later this week, meaning that we might see it even and today. As with all fan films, the Pac-Man [Fan Film] and Trailer are fan-made videos created to celebrate Pac-Man and they are not affiliated with Namco Bandai, and in no way represent their original work. Ridge Racer: Unbounded – PC Update Released; improvements & fixes to startup CTDs, bloom, invites

Bugbear and Namco have released a new PC update for their arcade racing game, Ridge Racer: Unbounded. This new update fixes the MP invitations that were reported a few days ago and improve the bloom effects in some stages. Unfortunately, there were not made major fixes or improvements to the controllers as – according to Bugbear’s Fred – most of the company’s developers are taking a few days off.
