Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus mod removes annoying head bobbing

Modder ‘Methanhydrat’ has released a new mod for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus that lets players adjust, and completely disable, the annoying head bobbing. In addition, this mod allows players to use the dot crosshair regardless of the weapon they are using. First Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus patch unlocks Vault, improves stability on NVIDIA’s hardware

Bethesda has just released the first Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus patch. According to the release notes, this patch improves overall stability on NVIDIA 10-series GPUs. In addition, it fixes some issues with Skyboxes, and improves Win 10 stability on NVIDIA GPUs. Wolfenstein 2 tech details: +30k drawcalls & up to +6 million triangles per frame, volumetric fog, tessellated water surface and more

id Software’s Lead Renderer Programmer, Tiago Sousa, has shared some interesting tech details about Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. According to Sousa, Wolfenstein 2 sports almost 30X more drawcalls than DOOM, something that could explain why this game is a bit more demanding that it. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus PC Performance Analysis

While Wolfenstein: The New Order was a great first-person shooter, it was plagued by numerous optimization issues. These issues were mainly due to the id Tech 5 Engine. As such, when Bethesda revealed that its sequel would be using the new id Tech 6 Engine, we were certain that it would perform better than its predecessor. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus does not feature any multiplayer because it would dilute it all

Like it or not, Bethesda may be the only big publisher that is currently supporting single-player games. Dishonored 2, PREY, The Evil Within 2 and now Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are single-player experiences only. Wolfenstein 2 releases in a few days and according to MachineGames’ Tommy Tordsson Björk, a multiplayer mode would definitely jeopardise the quality of its single-player mode. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – Official PC requirements revealed, will support the Vulkan API

Bethesda has just revealed the official PC requirements for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. According to the company, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-3770 or an AMD FX-8350, 8GB of RAM and an  Nvidia GTX 770 4GB or an AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB graphics card.
