Epic Games

Nvidia has released a new video in which Epic Games’ Tim Sweeney shares his thoughts about Nvidia’s new G-Sync technology. According to Sweeney, G-Sync will free Epic Games from making the decision of locking a game at 30fps. This should be good news for all those of us who hate 30fps capped titles (Ghost Games and NFS: Rivals, I’m looking at you). Cliff Bleszinski: “For each person that believed in my ideas at Epic there was somebody who doubted”

cliff bleszinski

You know what? Deathsquad’s podcast with Cliff Bleszinski is really, really interesting. First and foremost, that podcast revealed some of the new features of Bleszinski’s upcoming title. Secondly, in that podcast Bleszinski claimed that Xbox One and PS4 are nothing impressive (as they are more of the same) compared to Oculus Rift. And finally, Bleszinski threw his glove at Epic Games, claiming that there was constantly somebody who doubted Bleszinski’s ideas. Unreal Engine 4 – Visual Effects Trailer Part #2

Unreal Engine 4 v4

It’s been a while since our last look on Unreal Engine 4, don’t you think? I mean, PS4 and Xbox One have already been released and apart from Fortnite (and two or three other titles like Daylight and a F2P game from Yager), there isn’t any other title advertised for it. It’s probably not what most of you have been waiting for, but at least it’s something. Enjoy! Continue reading Unreal Engine 4 – Visual Effects Trailer Part #2

Unreal Engine 4 Will Natively Support PhysX 3.0, Launch Next-Gen Titles Will Support It

Unreal Engine 4 v4

Great news for all gamers as Unreal Engine 4 will natively support the latest version of the PhysX SDK, PhysX 3.0. That applies only to the PC build of Unreal Engine 4. As Nvidia’s Andrew told us, UE4 PC has native PhysX 3.0 middleware. Andrew also claimed that next-gen consoles – that will be obviously coming to PC too – PC titles will support PhysX 3.0 (Editor’s note: Andrew contacted us and clarified things. He was not referring to console titles but to next-gen PC games such as The Witcher 3. Apologies for that). PhysX 3.0 features better multi-threaded capabilities, something that will benefit both Nvidia and AMD users.
