Electronic Arts and DICE have revealed the official PC system requirements for the upcoming open beta phase of Battlefield 5. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5 6600K or an AMD FX-6350 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 or an AMD Radeon HD 7850. Battlefield 5 was running at 1080p with “rock solid” 60fps with NVIDIA’s real-time ray tracing effects
During a presentation at Gamescom 2018, DICE’s developers confirmed that Battlefield 5 was running with rock solid 60fps at 1080p with NVIDIA’s real-time ray tracing features enabled. This is perhaps the first game that runs at 60fps with NVIDIA’s real-time ray tracing effects as Shadow of the Tomb Raider had major performance issues and Metro Exodus targets 1080p/60fps for its final release. Battlefield 5 Open Beta begins on September 6th
DICE has announced that the Battlefield V Open Beta will begin on September 4th for early access owners and September 6th for all players on Origin for PC.
